Bossy - just remembered about your chicken as I cooked some tonight. I line a tray with large piece of ali foil, put a small piece of butter top and bottom of each skinless breast, add a good dash of white wine and make a loose, well-sealed 'envelope' around them. Then bake around 200 for about 40-50 mins (depends on size) turning over carefully and re-sealing about halfway through. HTH

Morning all
Hope everyone is as well as can be
Going to try and get undercoat on wardrobe finished today and I will fill that job application in apart from that I've still got loads left to do on the lists so better crack on once I've shifted ds1 to work.
Ds1 is singing in London tonight so he needs early tea as he's got a train to catch. Just hope it runs better than the ones I sat round waiting for last week. I've got micropore and sudocreme sorted for him to take as I just know he'll cut his fingers again.
Hugs and coping vibes to everyone who needs them.SPC~12 ot 124

Glad you are feeling a bit better Valli and I hope this bed base arrives undamaged.
Job application filled in, I'll hand it in when I go to work at lunchtime. Feel a bit jittery now it's done. Mind you I suppose I'll have the advantage of knowing that I will know the person who's interviewing me if I get through to that stage (wether that's a good or bad thing I'll find out later) lol
Going to go and paint now.SPC~12 ot 124

Morning all
Didn't fly yesterday except for laundry as I got my head down and did about 8 hours worth of monotonous work while binge watching TV. My books are now ready for next week, I just need to sort the newsletters out, and I have stamped & trimmed somewhere in the region of 1000 order forms (didn't trim the ones where the stamp went wrong though, I've learnt my lesson - stamp first, trim later lol) so that should be that job done until Christmas hopefully
Today DD has a maths revision class after school (compulsory apparently) so I'm going to do tea in the slow cooker I think as it'll probably be nearly 5pm when she gets home due to the buses and I don't want to be dealing with a hangry teen :rotfl:
Still full of cold and feeling sluggish here but I am sick of the dirty dishes pile hardly shrinking when DD is washing up so I'm going to tackle that. Its stuff like empty plastic tubs which had fairy cakes in so just needs a quick wipe really. I also need to groom Zack before I can vacuum downstairs. Upstairs is looking pretty good so just needs a quick go over.
Off to put the cleaning cloths back on to wash. I put them on yesterday and got that engrossed in work I forgot to hang them out so they've been sat in the WM for nearly a full day. I can also fling a couple of bathroom ones in which got dirty this morning cleaning up after DD's shower. It looks like a sunny but breezy day here so they shouldn't take long to dry at all. Then it doggy stuff today and floor mats.
Personal:
WM - cloths, dog toys, dog blankets/jumpers, mats, cleaning cycle
Sort dog food out
Groom zack
Stitch dog toys
Throws back on sofas

Chaos reigns in Narc0land as usual.
Fire-fighting flying done as needed; the place doesn't look too bad but there has been no routine or method - just what seemed necessary at the time. So washing, dailies, washing up and putting things where they belong is pretty up to date, as are kitchen essentials. About dusting and vacuuming I won't comment.
Just sprinted outside in the wind and between showers to pick up apples to take down to mum's; also gathered some tomatoes. Had planned "leisurely" preparation for the weekend away i.e. no work today, so wasn't over-excited when I got an email yesterday from uni asking me to do an assessment today. But it all goes in the bank so I won't refuse - just means more manic rushing round. Worked out complicated system to pick up Mr N from work at noon - he works 8 miles from home - drive to uni (further 8 miles); he will drop me at uni then go back to work. That means he can pick me up later as it is on the way to mum's (I know it's only 16 miles out of 120 but psychologically it's a pain to drive home, collect him then drive back past uni on the way to Dorset!). All this ramble means I need to get everything in the car for uni, Mr N and I along with gardening tools (to help mum), tools (to help his brother with some DIY as we're dropping in to him on the way home). I have a list but bound to have forgotten something. And if the car is too full we won't have room to bring MIL back from BIL....
A quick coffee now while I sort out paperwork.
Dancing class was great last night; Mr N didn't hate it, the group of people were really nice and we plan to keep going!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
