Back from party, DS won a dance competition, DD was mortified lol (as the dance pro of the family heehee). Although he realised a bit late that break dancing with a cast on his arm isn't a great idea :rotfl: Both sweaty so I've put them in the garden with the chalks to cool off a bit.

Chicken crown in the oven, need to decide if we are having traditional dinner or with pasta. Think it might be the latter...

This afternoon I'm going to dust upstairs and maybe even get under DS bed with the vac on his railway board. Both kids rooms need a toy tidy later.

I'd have thought it was entirely appropriate! :rotfl:

Let's see, what have we achieved? Quite a bit, I think, despite all the obstacles in our way just now.
    • Got up, threw yesterday's clothes on and walked the dogs (they have a very early walk, so this is the best way to do that).
    • Fed dogs; they have to be fed in different rooms, or Charlie tries for Harvey's food, and Harvey lets him.
    • Had bath; got Mr LW to help me wash my hair (can no longer do it myself)
    • Mr LW attended the farmers market, so we now have cheese, eggs, cream (non-pasteurised) and honey.
    • Done our daily WiiFit (still doing this, over six years since we started it!)
    • Made cheese, Qr0rn, onion and tomato quiche.
    • Made blackberry & apple crumble
    • Cleared fallen crab-apples from back garden (otherwise the dogs, who are Spaniels and therefore notorious for it, eat them).
    • Cleared all the debris from the cooking, WUDUPA.
    • Walked the dogs again - Harvey seems to think that jumping up and putting his huge great Spaniel paws on my lap while I'm trying to put on leg-warmers is helpful. :D
I should throw the Dys0n round, but an executive decision has been made to do this tomorrow. Could be something to do with the fact that despite an extra dose of Oramorph, my shoulder is killing me! *Looks for "ouch" smiley*.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Afternoon lovelies :)

A busy day here (when is it not?!) but trying to chill now. Littlies are having dinner, DH is laying the fire and we have packed his van up for the week ahead (he leaves at 5am for working away). I have made all his meals in advance so all he needs to do is heat them up and prepare the necessary carb-based accompaniments.

LW - That is quite a list, well done you!

Have lovely evenings all, see you on the new thread xx

Slinking in to say I tried, but didn't get much done this week. I managed to keep on top of the washing and ironing, and at least everyone was fed!

Onwards and upwards. Black dog not helping at all, and it's not even the winter.

See you on the new thread :)
