    Good luck, Mrs MP X

I've managed to change DS appointment to have his cast taken off before we go to Center Parcs - hooray! He could cope with the lack of biking - quads but I think no swimming would have been a real shame. Anyway, it's now moved to a few days before we go, so all being well thumb will be mended and not need another (cast not thumb!)

I'm trying to motivate myself into sorting my desk and the counter top in my office. It's a bit of a dumping ground. I've just done the kitchen, so I might set myself a little hhc in here. Instead of browsing the net and wondering what to do with myself. Feeling quite lazy!

Have bought a couple of birthday cards and gifts for DD parties - she has 2 over the next week...

Hugs and peace vibes for CY xxx

    Right, off I go...

I sorted the hot hotspot earlier. What to do with sugarcraft models? Unlikely to use them again. Should just bin 'em I suppose. I still have the sugar flowers from my wedding cake - almost a decade old. Also have racing cars and a golf bag from various birthday cakes. Hmm.

Rest of it is sorted though. Agreed with mum that DS fireman Sam toys will be kept for her foster boys for Xmas. I will give him the money he would have made, had we sold them. Need to find a home for Xmas stuff as I bought a couple of stocking fillers today :o

Not a lot of flying achieved. I'll do the downstairs WC once the kids have nodded off.

Took DS to football training tonight. One of the dads was running it, so I had a word about "the thumb" and said he wanted to join in but couldn't do the 5-a-side bit at the end. He had an absolute ball (pun intended) and ran off some much needed steam :D we left early, just as the rain arrived ;) perfect timing!

He also got heaps more stamps at school - his TA came and had a word, said she is aiming for 100 with him by the beginning of next week! Sterling work to say he only had 23 on Tuesday - and that was 2 weeks worth, he's earned about double that in the last 2 days!

Right, all is quiet above stairs. I'll get my rubber gloves on then!

  • Can I have flylady prayers please. We're waiting for the vet to open. Ozzie is awake but unresponsive and can't stand. I'm dreading making the decision as DH has to go to work.
