  • FBO sending love and support your way, I will be thinking of you and hope vet can help Ozzie, do they have an emergency number you could ring for advice and support or at least to get at the top of the mornings list of appts.

Morning all, just having my tea and toast (that Dh does me before he heads off to work) need to catch up on a few areas of the list today and have a few bits I can add to the CS bag and put in the clothing bank.
Also want to sort a half term frog list out

Lynne thank you for the kind words about ds2s singing, we are really proud of him, having to get up at 1am to meet his train in last night was hard work but we'd sooner do that and know he's home safe. He was singing in Camden last night supporting the scholars and from early but tired accounts it went very well. I'll let him sleep in for a few more mins then get him up for work. (Not quite a rock n roll lifestyle yet LOL)

Hugs good wishes and posi/coping vibes to all who need them

For those not on FB, CY posted yesterday evening that she is now home :j
Great to have you back with us on the Flylady sofa, CY

Well done to your DS on the good review, mrs-mp :T
I hope that Donna and family have had some news to put their minds at rest x

Sorry I haven't been posting - yesterday went completely to pot in all sorts of ways. However, I managed to get a lot of bitty jobs done and now need to rewrite my day-today Toots list :) but I also spent megabucks on antivirus protection and software for my laptop  Fortunately I have a refund coming to me from my previous energy supplier which will go a good way towards paying for these :money:

Flying-wise, I have been keeping on top of the washing and ironing, general tidiness and cleanliness downstairs and in the bathroom. Our bedroom needs a deep clean: DH took a weekend bag off the top shelf in our wardrobe and it was covered in dust, so everything will have to come out sometime soon (but not today :o as I must do some college work). The study still isn't as tidy as I'd like it to be. And I still haven't planted any bulbs to welcome the spring :( Hey-ho... Might get to the GC tomorrow on our way back from cathedral city...

(((Hugs))) spoons, sticks and congratulations all round, as needed
    xx

FBO hugs and strength coming your way, making the decision is hard but you are a strong lady and you will make the right choice. Having made the decision earlier this year for my old puss I knoe exactly what you're going through.

And cycling - echo what Mrs mp has said.

    Thank you Honey Bear
  • Right my end of the week round up starts NOW! I'm going to give each room (lounge, our bedroom, bathroom, kitchen & hall/stairs/landing) a HHC each so in 2 1/2 hours the house should look ok. Which will give me this afternoon to bake or sew.

Anyone want to join me on any of my HHCx5?

I should be joining you Mrs MP but I've got a very sore back and am confined to the sofa while it settles itself back to normal. My own fault, I know exactly what did it. I've taken two parrots to get rid of the pain, had a good breakfast and will surface again later. I'm halfway through watching the first US Presidential debate, which is utterly fascinating. Flying might have to be given a bit a miss today, but I'll make up for it tomorrow or when a five week lodger leaves and a new four week one arrives, so the room will need some serious attention.

Excellent reviews, btw. I seem to remember an exclusive Flylady performance of Mack the Knife some years ago which was equally impressive. Good luck with the job application - my goodness you've got a lot going on at the moment.

 CY. Lovely to have you back with us.

Aww FBO huggies to you and doggie xxx

Welcome back to the sofa, CY xxx

Need to go to supermarket :( I'm sure we only had a delivery on Monday... Where does it all go? We are almost out of milk, there is no yoghurt or cheese, hardly any bread or fruit. I have a list... Kids wrote maoam on it too lol. Also going to change the pin on my new card while I'm there.

Did a tax claim online - procrastination central. Why didn't I do this in june? Ah well. It only took 15min in the end. Duh.

Right, I'm going now, then I will crack in with grubby bathrooms...

  • Hope your back feels better soon Honeybear, my HHC petered out when faced with morbid fascination of what was occurring next door. They mentioned they were having a lorry trailer dropped into the garden to use as a shed/patio area. It was literally the length of the gap between the back of their garage and the newly installed bottom fence, it took about 8 attempts with me and the staff of the pub gaping and gasping. I was convinced it would end in tears, but with only a small dent to the fence and the removal of the support post they managed it. Their garden does look tiny now. Back to flying now.

That sounds attractive, Mrs MP ;)

Groceries bought, washing hung to dry. Jeans I'm wearing are too big and very annoying. This might be their last outing.

Shopping put away, including a chicken crown - thanks for the tip (I forget who?) about the foil parcels for skinless chicken. I do have some in the freezer - I also have a stash of roasting bags so heaven knows why I'm not using them...

Anyone joining me for 40min whizz round the ground floor?
    I'm off!

    Morning all :D

    FBO - Sending vibes x

    CY
    - Glad to hear you're back home on the sofa x

Yesterdays sewing took longer than I thought! I think most of Zacks toys now have more of my stitching holding them together than manufacturers. He loves playing tug of war with them, but they don't like it :rotfl: Grooming him also took ages as I did a proper claw clipping, fur in between pads shaved back (to stop him sliding on the laminate), pads moisturised (he likes to lick his paw pads which causes them to sort of chap), teeth checked, and lots and lots of brushing as he's been wearing jumpers so not shedding as much. Then after tea I had a long hot soak in the bath with lavender scented stuff followed by the best nights sleep I've had in about 2 weeks. :D I didn't quite hit 6 hours but it was a lot more restful so I'm raring to go today, mentally anyway.

I'm just spending some time with my coffee and planner. I'm trying to get set up for October, as things are already getting busier for me with work and I'd really really like this weekend off :rotfl: My calender is so deceptive though. It looks like there's nothing on all month except half term and 4 working days (they're days when I have to dedicate an entire 8+ hours to work as they're delivery day or order submitting day plus a book collecting day) when in fact I know I have a hell of a lot more work than that to do.

I'm concentrating on laundry at the minute but more flying will be done later, DD helps on a Friday night as her brain is usually frazzled so she can't focus on her homework. She's already said she's going to iron tonight so she can watch some more TV so that's one thing off my list.

    Personal:
WM - dog toys, cleaning cycle, blanket, quilt, towels - Put a clean cycle on as I put the floor mats in, then saw my list and realised I meant to do the dog toys etc first. Oh well, the blanket is in now the clean one is done. I'll work my way through the others as washing line space allows lol

WM is on it's third lot already, I have my planner and I'll have a hot coffee as soon as I top this mug up. Right, time to get this mug topped up and finish planning for October.
