  • I thought you had to put in a claim with the details of the cheaper room within 24 hours of making the initial booking through the Days Inn site though? Also, I've been looking at the claims form on the Days Inn site and there doesn't seem to be any way of sending the actual screen shot of the cheaper deal, do you email it to them at a later date?

Lastly, what is Days Inn cancellations policy? Will you get charged a fee for cancellation?

Sorry for all the questions but I want to make sure I'm doing it all correctly as I don't want to end up (god forbid!) actually paying for the room :D

I'm looking to book one night at the birmingham days inn on new years eve.

    Correct.

The screenshot is just so you have evidence that the cheaper rate was available at the time. You simply send in the claim and wait. If they require a screen shot, they will ask for it.

Normally, you can cancel without penalty up to 4pm on the day of your reservation but you would need to check your reservation to be 100% sure.

I can't see anything less than the £59 that is available on the Days Inn site.

Not sure if this is of use to anyone, or whether it'll be successful yet, but just managed to find a better rate for Days Inn Hyde Park

Yes, this would be useful for me so please come back and let us know.

I'm not clear on the breakfast arrangements.
It looks like a compliementary "breakfast in a bag" but it isn't really clear on either website what is included.

My stay at Days Inn Warwick went off basically without a hitch. :) The woman did read out a rate for the room, but I corrected her and gave her my screenshots, and she was quite happy. When I went to leave I checked again, and the staff were lovely and friendly and polite... I got the impression they thought I'd got a free room because I'd made a complaint in the past! :D

    Hi all,

Have just tried to check my reservation on ramadas website but my confirmation number is not working!?
Has anyone had trouble with this?

Is it worth ringing ramada up about this?

    Update *

Just tried checking the reservation on the ramada.com website instead of ramada.co.uk, and it is still there!

What a drama trying to find a cheaper room for one of the london hotels for either 4th or 5th April next year (or both). If anyone can recommend any sites to check against please let me know. I have tried hotel pronto and asia rooms and a few others via searching on google.

Barrie - just keep checking expedia and e-bookers - they were the two sites I've been successful with. I think asiarooms t&c says they'll get back to you to confirm the room is available so Days Inn don't allow that as comparison (although I may be wrong). I booked and cancelled my Ramada New Yorker 5 times before I got it right! but wow was it worth it... It is only a computer you're dealing with so I'd book rooms now .... and then recheck prices in a week or so and rebook-claim and cancel first booking....good luck.

Hi.. sorry to be thick.. am probably getting too excited at the thought of spending a night in a posh hotel for free! I've found 2 rooms to book for one night (for 4 adults in total) on Ramada.com site for a total of £360 (£180 per room). Expedia and e-bookers both show the Ramada Hotel as having no vacancies for that night (31/12/07).
Should I book on the Ramada site and just hope that Expedia or e-bookers will get some vacancies or wait until they are showing vacancies before booking via Ramada first? Will Ramada give both rooms free or only one?

  • Nenen... I assume the hotels you are talking about are in the USA or Canada? If not then the free night guarantee for hotels in the UK with Ramada has been replaced with one where they will match the cheapest rate that you find... as per the info in GlenntheBaker's post here:
