I put the postcode of the hotel into Google Map and it appears to be about halfway between Queensway and Notting Hill Gate stations on the Central Line.

Go from Pimlico to Victoria and then change to the District or Circle line to get to Notting Hill Gate. Paddington is only 2 stops away from Notting Hill Gate, again on the District or Circle line.

Does anyone know what is the nearest tube station to ramada hyde park? I wil be coming from Pimlico (Days Inn Westminster). Also need to plan to get from Ramada Hyde Park to Paddington the day after.

Any local tips would also be appreciated,

Thanks
Barrie

When are you going?

I'll be there on 26th October so will report back as to which one is the nearest.

Be aware that the tube lines are oftend closed at weekends due to upgrading.

Look at TFL.gov
• Thats exactly the same date, days inn westminster on the 26th and ramada hyde park on the 27th
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.

Looks like our red-breasted friend may have flown the nest...........

We're due to stay at Chester next weekend and have had the usual round of it's free, it's definitely free, it should be free but you may still get charged etc emails. Decided to drop him a line to get an up to date answer and got the following reply:

"Many thanks for your email. I have left the employment of Ramada Jarvis Hotels. So please re-direct your emails to sales.chester@ramadajarvis.co.uk"

So the question is, did he fly or was he pushed??

Actuially, I feel a bit bad now.

Anybody managed to stay at Chester yet without having to pay and claim it back?

bdmum1, did you definitely email Batman's Sidekick? I ask because he is/was a Supervisor at Wyndham Hotel Group, the US parent company of Ramada and not Ramada Jarvis, the company which manages the Ramada properties in the UK.

• Hi,
this is my first actual post, so forgive me if I ask a question that has already been asked.

I have been looking through pages on the subject of free nights at Ramada and wonder if the offer is still worth applying for.

I have looked on Ramada website - and found a night, next Sat in Birmingham city centre is £99 and on ebookers its £73.16. Both rooms are double and as far as I can see the same. However I am not sure about the breakfasts as can't work out if Ramada inc. breakfast or not!

Can anyone tell me would the free night still work for me? If not how do the terms and conditions restrict it, because I have read them and they seem to be ok.

Thanks for any help.
Vic

Hi, VicTastic and welcome.

Unfortunately, Ramada.com have tightened up their Best Rate Guarantee so it now only applies to hotels in the USA and Canada.

.

:mad:btards. these companies try to be clever and put price guarantees, hoping the average joe will not bother to check!

• Thanks for your help everyone, is there anyone who does still offer this deal? It is confusing, becuase I didn't see anything that said that the offer does not apply to the UK.
Have a good weekend!

GlennTheBaker: sorry, you're right, I was getting my birds and fruit mixed up.

I've got so many emails from so many people I'm losing track of who I'm writing to!

So, Apple guy, Revenue Manager from Chester is the one who's seemingly moved on.

Still feel a bit bad.
