Free hotel stays

i just got a reply from "star of 70's blue movies Askwith" stating this

We have confirmed that your Best Rate Free Night, may not be honored by the hotel on your date of arrival.

and will refund me if i keep receipts? what shall i do? cant really afford the £190 upfront for the room??

ye i suppose i will have to, i have also replied to the hotel asking will it be free due to the t's and c's but no reply as yet

I also got the email from "Batmans companion"

However as stated earlier both my hotels have confirmed they will give me the room free.

Is this the Ascot hotel as TBeckett100 has had confirmation his room is free

I've just got the same e-mail from 'Dyslexic Thief' 'Doing something to Steffi you can only dream of'.

Do you think I should forward it onto the hotel beforehand, or just do as he / she say?

I've also now had emails from the 'Reliant' one too so its all looking good - even if the hotel causes any fuss.

got emails from batmans mate too - which is good - but it says funds will be refunded to me in US dollars??!!! have queried this with him - if its a bank tfr then fine but if a cheque -not fine as i don't have a dollar account!

well had a reply - he said t that all he can do is offer payment by means of a US dollar cheque and that i will have to pay the hotel!! any ideas??!

oops - sorry - thought the emails from batmans sidekick were new today so didn't go back through the thread! Will perserve with him then - so far he won't acknowledge that there would be a fee!!
