£408 for me (if and when I get all the money back) plus the $100 that Red Breast offered in apology.

Jarvis UK should have got a nice brown envelope on their doormat today from the Court regarding the one I booked on their co.uk site which they failed to honour. Will be interesting to see how they play that one.

sorry if this is a stupid question but how many nights can you get free? as i notice a lot of you seem to be getting more than one night.
also does this apply to hotels in the usa as im looking for a hotel in NY for 6 days.

I'm afraid you have missed the boat on this one.

The old T&C's have been amended so as to exclude the deals we got.

To answer your question it's ONE free night per stay per person.

  • Hi,

I have been following this thread on and off and I made a claim for 1 night at the Days hotel Dublin airport (thanks!). I booked at the Days Inn website and sent them a claim quoting the same room/terms with a lower price at Alpha Rooms.

They replied to say they could not find this quote and lo and behold the rate on Alpha Rooms had gone up to match the Days Inn rate. So, I replied to them sending a screen shot of the lower price which I had taken just after making the booking.

The next reply said they could not offer the free night - quote:

"Thank you for providing the screen shot of the website, however I wasn't able to locate a date on your screen shot to show when you had taken the screen shot."

It seems they are determined not to pay up on this one :( - anyone got any advice?

    Thanks

unless you can get an email from alpha rooms confirming that rate was there, there isnt a lot you can do
  • I've been using orbitz so far. What little sites has everyone had success with?
  • Does anyone know what is the nearest tube station to ramada hyde park? I wil be coming from Pimlico (Days Inn Westminster). Also need to plan to get from Ramada Hyde Park to Paddington the day after.

Any local tips would also be appreciated,

    Thanks
    Barrie
