just had the Ascot hotel email (i never contacted them - funny wording), I have emailed them back asking for the t&c's that invoke the claim and I have emailed the USA HQ.
I thought we had got over all this, seems as though we havent.0 -

Well i got a message on the day of my stay (of course I had another room booked at another hotel by then) and didn't get THAT mail til I came back from London (yesterday) saying I wouldn't be charged for my room at the Ramada. I explained to her that I was very annoyed at how I was treated..blah blah and her reply:
"I would like to resolve this situation with you, to allow you another chance to enjoy a night away. I will be sending you a check in the amount of $200 US funds, for the inconvenience."
So...that's good news as I can use this money towards Christmas gifts hehe :j*If you like the advice I give...let me know by clicking the THANKS button*

I can't believe the UK operation are still cancelling free stays. It looks like the UK and US operations have completely locked horns and neither side will back down! What an absolute fiasco.0

Well, no reply from the USA in my inbox from the email I sent over weekend, so sent another one over there requesting an answer by the end of their working day today, as to whether I can still claim my free night in Chester... :rolleyes:
Hopefully should have an answer by later this evening! Will keep you posted in any case...0 -
just got the red breast to sort out my other halfs Ascot booking. got a confirmation back all ok. have now forwarded it to the hotel for final confirmation,0
