I too emailed the Red Breasted on (Thanks TB100) and got exactly the same reply.
This guy must be working overtime!
I'll be forwarding this to the Gatwick hotel and then ringing to confirm they know the score.
Funny how my other hotel stay at Hyde Park has not been affected (touch wood).0 -

I just called the Ascot hotel after the red breast emailed me and the rate they are charging me is £144 on their computer. i have emailed Robin and said this is causing distress now.
Call to check before you go.

Tom, we do not have the ability to do credit card, we have been advised that banks will cash US checks but charge a fee. Which we are willing to add in.
If a free night claim has been approved by my staff, and the hotel has advised it will not be honored that guest must contact me directly to discuss.0 -
mmm... interesting developments TB100... bet Ramada US are cursing the numptiness of their UK colleagues! :rolleyes:
I will be interested to see the reply I get from the email I sent to Chester; sent a copy of the email I received from red breast and stated that if they had an issue with the free night they should contact him directly!
Oh well will keep folk updated as I find out more... Thanks for everyones updates... :beer:0
