I too have received the stock standard we have reviewed and are unable to find this price match type email.

So I have sent them the screen shot. Should they tell me that this is not acceptable as they need the final booking screen I will argue that nowhere in their rules does it show this.

  • I made a booking yesterday around 4pm and immediately submitted a claim. I got a reply today at 4.20pm saying that they couldn't find the cheaper rate. I sent a screenshot of the Expedia rate at the time and they say they need the final confirmation screen to honour the claim. I have politely pointed out that it took them over 24 hours to respond and that I have provided them with the evidence they requested - therefore they should honour the claim.

The reality is that I have 5 successful claims already so if this one goes tits-up, I'm really not that bothered!

I've messed up I think. My booking was for 4 x exec rooms - they are honouring the pledge but only on one room.....

    This is the response ....
This is because there was an update on only 1 reservation for the free night. The other reservations do still stand but do not have a free night. When the rate was changed to Zero dollars and saved it automatically sends out a new confimration email on any changes made to that room reservation. As I have stated in the previous email there are four rooms booked for you.

any suggestions for a reply to Darci?

Am sure the t & c's do state one room only, so possibly best just to cancel the other rooms?

    Edit: Yep, it does:
Only one free room night will be offered per stay. A room night means one guest room for one night, regardless of the number of rooms or reservations booked by the guest.
    Gone ... or have I?

UKRadios, just wanted to say I love you! 1 free night in Bristol coming up!

Hehe! Didn't even realise we had a Ramada down here! if you want to make up for it, can always buy me a drink in town! :)
  • Ramada Encore Bournemouth, 19 & 20th Dec £69 per night. Booked it with Ramada.com then found it's no cheaper with Expedia - damn! I guess I missed the boat. (Tried HotelPronto too - more expensive)

    Ah well........
  • Mine still says "Executive Room One Double"

Have you received a "your hotel reservation confirmation" email for each booking as well as the best rate guarantee email?

I have received one for one but not for the other, are we ok as long as we have the confirmation number?

I emailed them to ask if my FREE room had been changed to just a double, and recieved a reply within the hour to say my stays would still be in executive rooms - so we are all ok there:)

I too only recieved one email with the price changed to zero, but when I enter the confirmation numbers into the Ramada website both rooms now say free.

Hi I booked a Ramada hotel in Birmingham this afternoon and straight away submittde the claim form, the booking on Expedia was £13 cheaper, I have just had an email from Darcy who says she cannot find the cheaper rate. I have sent her a copy of the screen grab and stated quite clearly that " I do hope Ramada honours their own policy and expect a response shortly"

I'll keep you informed. And I can post Darcy's email address from customer services if anyone wants it?

I booked Birmingham and having no joy . Also been told they can't find the cheaper rate I sent a copy of the screen they say it needs to be the final confirmation page.
