roughly how long is everyone's replies taking, from sending the claim in?

I sent mine at lunchtime and nothing back, so sent another one about an hour ago.

And also will Ramada take screenshot as proof of expedia cost at time of booking?

samamthag, there is a Ramada in Docklands, but I was unable to find it cheaper.

scotnan, people seem to be getting varying response times, but yes a screenshot should be sufficient proof.

ok 2nd time of submitting the claim it has prompted a response

".....We are unable to find the lower rate on the website you provided. If you believe there is a discrepancy, please provide us with additional information. We will gladly research this inquiry further......"

so have fired back an email with the screenshot and we'll see what happens now:rolleyes:

Well they seem to have made it harder but honestly as big as that chain is..they should accept the screen shot! I mean you can't really fake a screen shot..I wish you guys (that are still waiting) that it goes thru for ya

i have tried inverness and they have emailed me back saying not cheaper, well it was this morning, and ofcxourse prices have gone up and i did it at work, so no screen shot. think i have lost that one.

re trying to get two rooms for us as a fAMILY OF 4 - i have got one doub exec free at livingston but another email saying you have already booked and cannot get another - i dont think i will bother at all as we really need the four of us staying but if anyone has any suggestions please thrwo them my way

If you book it as a twin, HotelPronto.com is showing up as £72 for the 27th compared to £89 on Ramada.com! The problem is that HotelPronto is showing as including a Buffet Breakfast, and Ramada is not.

I have a feeling that if you email the hotel directly, they will probably confirm that a buffet/ continental breakfast is provided to all guests. Might be worth getting this before submitting your claim.
