Well, Blindman, I did all that, & can see no basis for my latest email from the hotel itself (see post #225 above) but they're contesting it - I see a battle ahead!

    Any suggestions, anyone?

Put the details of your visit and we can comment

    Which Hotel
    What dates
    How many in a room
    Exepdia.co.uk??

    I've edited my post.

The Days Inn promo has exactly the same T&C's as Ramada.
  • ramada.co.uk came back and said my prepaid reservation (which they cant take money for) is not prepaid as per expedia. i have asked her to cancel it as I cant be bothered!

Blindman - you seem to understand these things - I'm trying to book more than 1 room (we're going away with friends). So if I book 4 x rooms one in each name does that fulfil the criteria do you think? And should they have diff e-mails addresses? (it's not easy saving money!)

Sounds like it would as you as an individual can only have one room:
Only one free room night will be offered per stay. A room night means one guest room for one night, regardless of the number of rooms or reservations booked by the guest.
Use a different credit card and contact details for each booking though.

Hi I hope someone can help I've tried for the last couple of days to find a ramada hotel room cheaper [free in other words] for london [any] on saturday 23rd march 2 adults and 1 child but can't find anything cheaper on expedia or days hotels do you think ramada have sorted them out? If anyone can find anything I would be greatfull. Thanks guys
  • Hi

Im also looking for London for 2 adults, 1 child for December 21st. Everything on expedia is same price or dearer. I think Ramamda have sorted this out. Can anyone help me find something? Any help appreciated.
  • I got the e-mail saying it was in two different currencies. I e-mailed back saying it was in expedia.co.uk in £sterling and in Ramada.com in £sterling. I put the origional claim in yesterday morning, received their e-mail yesterday evening and e-mailed back at once. I have heard nothing since last night. Did anyone who contested the different currency get a reply.

I think Ramada have clamped down on this now, and suspect you will not be getting anymore free rooms.

Expedia have raised their prices, and i'm sure Ramada are checking other suppliers. If ones slip through the net, they it looks like they are creating obstacles, and will probably find an excuse not to provide your room free anymore. Expect some kind of loophole closure soon! It was always going to happen!

So, conservative estimates - Ramada have given 1,000 free hotel night to MSE readers ? Higher? Lower?
