If you READ the posts you find no-one has been to the Hotels yet.
  • So you have managed to stay @ one of the hotels then on a free night for 3 rooms?
  • Look blindman I was asking the question and yes I have read the threads thanks!!!! Just ASKING the question whether anyone has actually had any success in STAYING at the hotel before I tried!!! Yet again no need
  • The 'staying' part is academic in my opinion. I have several reservations which show a nightly room rate of £0. If anyone tries to charge me anything, I'll have a print of the confirmation as well as a copy of the email informing me my claim under the Best Rate Guarantee was successful.

Thank you sooooo much for this. I just got the guts to try this and have just sent off my claim for the London Encore hotel - £75.95 on ramada and £65.80 on expedia for standard double bed room on the 14th dec. Yey! I have made sure i have taken lots of screenshots and have read through this post to make sure theres nothing they can really fault. Fingers crossed hey!

Good luck! I just got cofirmation of a free night on Dec 21st at encore hotel so it should work for you!

    Good luck again!
  • Thanks for the info Glenn, I will check it out!!!!
  • Can we compare against alpharooms.com? :j
  • I've just attempted a variation on this. There is a UK version of the site at www.ramadajarvis.co.uk. They also have the Best Rate Guarantee with similar T&C's to the one on www.ramada.com.

On the UK site, an Executive Room at Newton Park for 6 October 2007 is £145. On Ramada.com, the price is £130. The terms of the Ramada Jarvis guarantee state that if there is a cheaper rate on www.ramadajarvis.co.uk then no free night will be offered, you will get the cheaper rate. It is very specific about this. I've booked the room via www.ramadajarvis.co.uk and submitted a claim form naming www.ramada.com as the cheaper competitor site.

    Update to follow........
