Did the OP let DVLA know the change of address? This seems to be a common theme with ccj's etc.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Does anyone else get a warm fuzzy feeling when someone reports getting a massive fine for not paying car tax?
It makes paying mine a lot easier0 -
Contact your MP, see if he/she will helpChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Now that we don't have tax discs in the window to remind us, i bet more and more people will forget it.
My tax; Mot, and insurance are all due together and once i start getting emails from all the insurance companies wanting me to switch, i know they're due.
We didn't have a reminder about MOT either when tax discs were on display - I write mine on a calender anything that had an expiry date and birthdays etc.0 -
Thanks for all the replies everyone.
No, I pay yearly so I'm not constantly checking every month. Of course now I've set alerts & notes, but if my flat got flooded all I can rely on is a reminder letter.
.
Or a post it...
A google calendar reminder...
The DVLA internet site...
Written on the sun visor of the car...
The old tax disc in the windows...
a fag packet.....
Any idea when your MOT is out? Might be worth you checking as that and the insurance are usually round about the same time.
And you wont be constantly checking if you pay by direct debit! Its one less thing to worry about.
A few months is forgetful, but 12?0
