    Wednesday

Have you tried rubbing Vicks on the soles of your feet and then putting socks on before going to bed?

Thank you, Fudge is fine; he's settled in so well, it's amazing! He ignores anything on the tv or the computer screen; he likes the "canine entertainment service" ie the view out of the patio doors onto the garden, so that he can bark at the squirrels. :D He's just enjoyed one of those hide chewy stick things; he decided that the sofa was the right place to chew it. :D

AWW LW, Fudge sounds adorabubble. In fairness, to myself, Bon is the first dog i've had that's so reactive to the tv 😊

it seems like so many of us are poorly ATM! Get well wishes to everyone and take it easy!

Today I’ve woken up and still croaky but it seems a little better so I’ll take that! Kids are playing happily, washing is out blowing happily and another chill out day is on the cards. I only have to pop out and get some meat and pop in and get my new glasses adjusted as they are a bit tight. DS is at football with DH and DD will Potter around with me.

Going to the cinema tonight with DH (using my cea card) so my mum has the kids over night - I don’t really feel up to it but it’s an easy night and we never get to go out so I’ll take it.

Got my meal plan for next week sorted and I’m going to try and stick to £50 again this week!

Enjoy! What are you going to see? :o

Mr LW wants to go and see the new Thor film; we'll schedule it for an afternoon after Fudge goes home. I can't cope with an evening at the cinema any more, it's too tiring; so we go to an afternoon performance these days.

LameWolf- love the fact that Fudge is so relaxed with you and Mr LW:D

Tink04- have a lovely time on your cinema date with OH, you are doing well with your foodplan, must to do mine today, need to use freezer stuff where possible as having a small meat delivery on Tuesday (The MSE Heartier promotion).

Healing vibes to all with nasty colds/coughs etc, they do seem to hang on for ages:(

Polly - I hope that all is well with you and your DD?

I am in agony today with the shoulder that I damaged, have done nothing all day but heat some HM defrosted soup for our lunch, having an IBS flare too, so not the happiest of bunnies, but to steal from another lovely lady on another thread "it is what it is" and hopefully all will be better soon. Good news is that after a dark gloomy morning the sun has his best hat on and it looks lovely out there:D:D

Hugs and spoons as required, take care all.

Lovely to hear about all the pooches. Ours is terrified at this time of year due to the fireworks going off. Breaks my heart when she gasps.

We had a lovely night out -LW we went to see Thor and it was brilliant I’d definitely recommend!

Just went to hang my washing out and the rain has started :( ah well will have to just hang it in the airer. Going to make a chilli today for through the week and then we are taking the kids to a birthday party this afternoon! Then it’s getting ready for back to school tomorrow!

  • I had to cancel my therapy as my throat is still too hoarse and I still have a cough and I don't really fancy going up to London on the tube with loads of people around me. I will just have to relax for a few more days inside.

We have problems with fireworks with our dogs too, I put wave sounds on my laptop to try and block the noise out. We moved the living room around last night so the armchairs are further away from the door. We put the heating on as well last night so it is nice and cosy in here.

No, I don't have Vicks but I have tiger balm if that would work? I might try that.

Fudge was barking at fireworks around here last night. They seem to go on for weeks at a time these days!:( Anyways, Mr LW did The Witcher 2 on the pc for an hour or so, then we switched to Skyrim, and those seemed to quiet the little fella, as he knew the noises were just from the games. :o
