.... return home from school run to a flooded house after the bathroom tap has been left on since 8am!!!! Everything is soaked - we have had to shut the electric off as the sockets and lights are all wet! Luckily I was able to dry off as much as I can and have the heating on before it got dark! We are now sitting with candles eating chips from the chip shop for tea! Oh dear! Not the night we had planned but it could have been a lot worse!

    Oh no!!!:(

You may congratulate me; I have finally finished making the fishermans rib cardigan I started over a year ago! :D I finished up knitting the pocket tops and sewing the pockets into place this morning, and it is now ready for wearing. :T

Congratulations! I hate the sewing up bit, so really well done.

Tink Oh no! Thank goodness you came home after the school run....

candy how are you getting on with your new medication?

Elona no wonder you need a cleaner. You just about get straight from a family visit and they come back again :rotfl: I bet you wouldn't swap a thing though?

I've been and had mean things done to my leg. The procedure didn't hurt but it stings a bit now. It's also been reclassified as it no longer counts as a haematoma now the necrotic skin has been removed. It's been reborn as a leg ulcer today and I have to start attending the leg ulcer clinic where they will do mysterious things to try and find out why it happened in the first place. I can also look forward to a compression bandage apparently.
  • I just saw a new GP at the doctor and said that I thought I might have a chest or lung infection. He said that I looked far too healthy so it must just be the end of the flu. Lol.

My chest is clear and my tonsils are okay so hopefully this horrible lurgy will pee off very quickly now.:p

OMG Tink, hope everything is ok.

Wednesday, my husband got cold sores every time he was stressed or run down until someone recommendd taking a tablet called l-lysine.
He takes 1x 1000mg a day and never had one since. They're herbal.

Congratulations on finishing it Lamewolf :)

As an asthmatic who used has coughed so much on occasion that I was surprised my lungs didn't appear....general gp advice is that a cough can last 3 to 4 weeks. After that, as a special treat your body can memorise the cough and still be coughing when you don't need to. Oh the joys - give it another week of annoyance and hopefully you'll be ok.

Just now I'm calling it sore. It bleeping well hurts tonight. Samhain blessings to you and Mr LW.
  • It's been colder the past two mornings and I keep waking up with a pain in my neck. I think I must be tensing it during the night as I'm cold. I might have to look to see if I have a PJ top that comes up around my neck and shoulders.

Yes, I bought those tablets. I used to take them regularly and then forgot to replace them. I haven't had another one for about 3 weeks now, thinking about it.:)

Good afternoon all, hugs and spoons in abundance on their way.

OH has been quite poorly with one of these cold virus things, this morning I woke with barbed wire throat, thank you B. Lap top very poorly too, so hoping it is not terminal, meantime had better try and learn how to do more on this tablet I suppose. I haven't told OH how long some of you have been struggling with these bugs, he is not used to being I'll.

candygirl _ love the photo. Cranky. Hope the leg is less painful today. Wednesday I hope that you recover soon. Apologies to those I have missed.

Think I had better do a library search to see if they have "android for dummies" book!! No idea how to select text for making bold etc!
