I think one thing that is annoying me a lot is that I'm ill and also that I kept getting cold sores over the past couple of months. The pharmacist said that I might be getting the cold sores again because I am run down.
What annoys me is that I have been getting much more sleep on the medications I've been on since my fibro diagnosis. I'm taking lots of vitamins and drinking green tea and eating organic fruit and veg. I've also tried to reduce my stress and have been using guided meditations etc...
I have no idea why I should be run down at the moment! It should be quite the opposite.
I just thought I would whine about it on here as it doesn't make any sense to me! Grr.:rotfl:Fudge was barking at fireworks around here last night. They seem to go on for weeks at a time these days!:( Anyways, Mr LW did The Witcher 2 on the pc for an hour or so, then we switched to Skyrim, and those seemed to quiet the little fella, as he knew the noises were just from the games.
Oh, I might try something like that, my husband would know about things like that, he is a gamer.:D0 -

Good afternoon all.
candy she's lovely. Were you keeping her awake? :rotfl:
I don't like the clocks changing - it throws my body clock out for ages. I'm also a bit nervous as I have a date with the tissue viability nurse and her scalpel on Tuesday. She told me she won't hurt me then told me to take my painkillers an hour before I go (umm why exactly if you're not going to hurt me?)
The House Troll is back at school tomorrow after half term. I'm already making a list of the cleaning jobs that need doing. Fingers crossed I get most of them done tomorrow as something tells me I won't be in the mood for them on Tuesday afternoon.0 -
Candygirl that is brilliant! :rotfl: It's amazing how Staffies particularly manage to relax in some really strange-looking positions. Cookie often looks like she's attempting yoga.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Wonky_Teacup wrote: »Sorry to hear you're still battling the cough/sore throat Wednesday, do hope it begins to ease soon. It might help, may not, but I noticed that as I felt better (more suited meds, better sleep etc) the more prone I was to short bugs. It was almost like my immune system had the energy to get back to protecting from the big things but was missing "smaller" enemies like a stuffed nose (but not full blown cold) or a horrid sounding cough (that the gp confirmed wasn't really anything, it just sounded awful and didn't stick around). That's getting better (6 odd months later) and the shorter bugs are happening less often - like needing to wait out systems returning to normal.
Oh, that is interesting, thanks. That does make sense as I have been feeling better fibro-wise, just the rest of my health seems to be quite rubbish.
I did read somewhere that when the body is trying to heal you can start to feel worse or have old injuries or have old health problems coming back.
I have the doctor tomorrow so I will get him to check I don't have a chest infection or anything more serious.
Hopefully it is just the horrible flu this year and that means I won't get it again for a few years, at least!:p2025 GOALS

You may congratulate me; I have finally finished making the fishermans rib cardigan I started over a year ago!
I finished up knitting the pocket tops and sewing the pockets into place this morning, and it is now ready for wearing. :T
Fudge has been collected by his own Humans; the bungalow seems really empty. We have no-one else booked in til 27th November (it's always a slack time of year) but you never know, there may be a last-minute booking. Hope so!If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Well today has been the worst day ...
Been to work, got kids to school, everything on track have stuff sorted for tea - all is well.....
.... return home from school run to a flooded house after the bathroom tap has been left on since 8am!!!! Everything is soaked - we have had to shut the electric off as the sockets and lights are all wet! Luckily I was able to dry off as much as I can and have the heating on before it got dark! We are now sitting with candles eating chips from the chip shop for tea! Oh dear! Not the night we had planned but it could have been a lot worse!
And breathe! Think I’ll just go to be and hope it was all a bad dream!Living the simple life0
