Evening all!!
I’ve had a good day - kids have played happily for most part - picked up my shopping and made curry with left over chicken from yesterday! Tried just taking it easy and pattering around the house doing a few bits and it’s been great not rushing around.Living the simple life0 -
Evening,
Pollyanna, I have support from my daughter but she has her own home and is heavily pregnant. She did come yesterday and made a huge pan of tofu and mushroom curry with rice that will last me a few days.
Cranky, I've never had any health problems in my life until PTSD in 2004 then this.
I just started to get a heavy feeling like a balloon of water was in my stomach. Then I started to get dull ache pains, and started to get fat without over eating.
It has continued to grow to the size it is now. It is so painful now that I am living on Codeine.
Wednesday, hope you feel better soon, sending a hug.
Lamewolf, hope your OH gets his appointment.
Tink, nice to hear you had a good day.
I can't get comfy anywhere except on a sun lounger that I can change the angle I sit at all the time. So I literally have it in my living room.
I mis judged sitting on it last night and I had a nasty fall. I cracked my head and was almost out for the count. Thank god my daughter and her partner were still here. My head and hip are very sore today.
MRI scan at 8am tomorrow.£36/£240

Good luck at the Docs Candygirl, great news on your blood sugars and iron levels.
Back from my MRI scan already. They said I didn't need the contrast so it was a straight forward 20 minute scan. Not as scary as I thought it would be.
Going to try to potter on with this house today.£36/£240

Welcome to the Bumps'n'Bruises club Soworried. I hope you're not quite so sore now; I'm always torn between Mr LW knowing I've fallen/hit my head/whatever else so that he can help, and him NOT knowing cos it's so damned embarrassing! When he was working, I used to just not tell him when I'd had some sort of altercation with the furniture; not so easy now he's retired and at home all the time.
Now you've had your MRI, dare I hope that suitable treatment will swiftly follow?
Candygirl good luck with those cataracts, mate. And with getting the hypothyroidism kicked into submission.
Tink :T:T:T for Good Days!
Meg's due to be picked up this afternoon; she's had her morning [STRIKE]walk[/STRIKE] dawdle - which is fine at her age. Made a new friend, too - a Labradoodle named Dylan.
We have two days dogless, then little Fudge - a Jack Russell/Chihuahua cross - will be here on Friday morning. He dislikes men; but he's stayed here before and was ok with Mr LW.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Our reception opens to patients before appointment times 8am-6.30 Mon ,Wednesday, Thurs and Fri and Tues 9am - 7-45 (late night appointments) It's possible to call in for various reasons including picking up prescriptions before the Drs start work . Depending on your husbands working hours such an arrangement may make it possible for him to collect your prescriptions if you are unwell yourself .

Yes, I'm definitely going to ask what I'm supposed to do if this situation happens again.
Luckily, I just managed to book another GP appointment online for this Thursday as they must have had a cancellation. I have been checking every day to see if there were any new appointments spare.
I will use the appointment this week to get more Lyrica and ask about repeat prescriptions and the appointment next week to ask to be referred to a podiatrist about the lump on my foot. You aren't supposed to have more than one problem for each appointment.
I read that it might be quite a wait for the podiatrist so if it is I might just go private for that.0 -
((Hugs)) to all. It sound like a lot of people on here are going through the wars at the moment.xxx

His Mum cooks special food for him, from scratch - which reminds me I must ensure there's a bit of fridge space for his food. He's only here for a weekend this time.

Fudge sounds like an adorable little munchkin 💖
Am currently psyching myself up for the docs appointment, n Mum has just rung wondering about CBD oil for my arthritis n cataracts :rotfl: She was quick to point out that it's "not that funny illegal stuff though!.":rotfl:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
