Just had a blazing row with my OH

You can be on your husband's side without agreeing with or condoning every thing he does. Perhaps he feels you aren't?
You were obviously in the right for not being prepared to lie to the police for him but you seem to have put yourself in the wrong by bringing another family member into your problems and by virtually throwing him out of his home.
Prepare to do a lot of talking to each other over the weekend.0 -
Sorry for being rude but it's absolutely stupid to suggest that the OP done anything wrong by NOT taking his side. Blindly defending people equates to a huge lack of responsibility and is a major problem in today's society.0

Without any context, it's hard to know.
It may now look to the OP's OH that she has got everybody against him, including his own sister.0 -
As do others, I'm wondering if he's under stress about something else. Hopefully, things will have calmed down after a night cooling his heels. I bet your OH was embarrassed at his overreaction and took it out on the nearest - you.

It seems to be the way people go when they have an argument these days...
:rotfl:You've been on this board too long. You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0 -
It sounds to me like he has something much bigger on his mind that has caused him to react this way, nobody smashes windows for a bit of loud music. What's underlying here?Pants0

To be fair, bake of had just started. It was entirely justified.0

You should not have contradicted your husband, regardless of whether he was in the wrong.
Do you often take the opposing view to him (and let everybody know)?
(Incidentally, posting such a detailed story under a new account is not really going to hide much, is it?)0 -

You obviously misread my post - I said she was right not to lie to the police about the incident!0 -
