  • Exciting news on the loan la E agree about harder to pay off once you've had the money. Only way I've seen success is to pay it on pay day so I don't ever really have it :p

:hello: to everyone, stick with us newbies we're a friendly bunch :D

Agree with you baileys babe I often 'write' a post in my head for later, by the time I get here I've forgotten all but the basics :rotfl:

    Today's list:
    Quick shower, hair dry naturally
Made courgette, pesto soup this morning for later, only took 10 minutes
Check banking system, surveys and FPL and £co
Washing drying outside, washed overnight on cheap, another on, would have caught last of cheap leccy
Last few strawberries that were a bit soft and last blob of yogurt for breakfast
Dig out new PIN number for new account so I can use it for contactless bonus
    Apply for reward credit card
Label a bit more (I did 2hours last night and broke the back of it) - now have 2 huge bags and 3 boxes. Anything else will be a bonus.
List some stuff on a brand specific faceb00k page
    Bump other selling posts
Leftovers for lunch and frozen naan from freezer which will have defrosted by lunch

Right off to make sure have everything for work. PF.

    Morning everyone

I pay off my student loan soon so if I combine that payment with the amount I currently pay for my car loan I can pay off my car in 13 months (from December)!

    Marvellous! :T

  • Hi everyone
Just a quick hello from me as I'm shattered. First full teaching day and I'm quite wiped.
I've done the basics of checking banking and little PAD - keeping on top of my schoolwork, managed a nsd, meals from stores etc.
I've also found a man to look after the garden for me for way less than I thought it would cost. Happy days, and it looks like my remortgage is going through apart from one missing account number that I just can't find anywhere... I can ring and get it tomorrow though.
Early night now because I'm shattered.

MTHN we are the same don't drink/smoke/go out much so coffee shops are our thing. I wouldn't stop it if it keeps you sane! I would do as the others as get a loyalty card, wobble stamps/receipts to get loyalty points and may be order a smaller latte now and again! Avoid the syrups and cakes.

Feeling unwell this week, double ear infection. Safe to say I won't be doing much but expect a week of NSD's.

    What are RM surveys peeps?

Next dose of antibiotics .... LP

Having 2 rice cakes and peanut butter for 'breakfast' as I'm going out for a late proper breakfast with work mid morning but it's a long time until then. Good news is work will pay :o

Little list today as I've a long (additional) commute and a full day in between:
Hope commute is kind, take hot drink
Check banking - ugh - payday seems a long time away
    Check surveys, FPL, £co
Home made quick veg lasagne for tea
    Water tomatoes
    Snacks to work
Check fridge for anything needs using
Add some more meals to plan for next week

    Right best get on. PF.

Morning La E & PF  Hi to everyone else who follows :D

My day off today :T Have been pottering around tidying up/cleaning house & garden this morning :)

Things to do with my day:

    * vacuum & polish house, mop downstairs floors
    * [STRIKE]sharing a bath with dgd shortly[/STRIKE]
    * all meals from stores - going to have broccolli, cauliflower & potato bake for tea to use up veg. Will blanch and freeze lo cauliflower
    * investigate making a pineapple cake - have a pineapple that is too sour
*[STRIKE] hang out washing on line. Put slightly damp load on the airer.[/STRIKE] managed to get it all on the linePut away mountain of washing later
    * really need to set up my ss for monitoring accounts/funds/savings later. If I don't do it today I'm going to get in a muddle!
    * [STRIKE]transfer money for ds' birthday into his bank account to go towards his driving course[/STRIKE]. Between me and oh we have managed to scrape together £100 (I was going to give £50 but oh said he was going to give £40 so I stretched to another tenner)
    * continue tidying the garden
    * return library books and get new ones
    * [STRIKE]taking dgd to soft play at lunchtime - will have lunch shortly before[/STRIKE] total success! All I spent apart from entrance was 60p on 3 packets of corn snacks for us all. Went into town and got face wash & an ipod cable - which was all I needed. I'm non-consumerist jedi! :rotfl:
    * [STRIKE]while in town nip into the pound shop and pick up a ipad charger cable as ours broke at the weekend[/STRIKE]
    * stew apples to freeze for apple crumble at some point
    * [STRIKE]checked banking & transferred £4.50 from joint to pers account for picking up sack of potatoes at the farm shop on my way to work the other day[/STRIKE]
    * nip to the allotment and pick anything that needs it
    * make batch of courgette & pesto soup - I have all the ingredients :D
    * [STRIKE]re-read martin's email as there were several things that caught my eye[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]ask oh to pick elderberries in the hedge at his work and make batch of wine tonight[/STRIKE]

Ok that's all! Have a great day x
