    yay friends to play with!! :wink::wink:

    Ziggy, I've just looked at the forecast now and its showing cloudy, cloudy I can cope with :wink: particularly if theres a bit of a wind to dry some more washing too: ) Did your ds get onto the footie team that he had trials for?

    Haha, everytime the weather comes on the forecast is different:rotfl:

    DS got into his football team and he's loving it, he's so active so this is perfect and it's bringing him out of his shell a bit too as he's making new friends too.

    He's finding this first week back a little tough, one of his teachers died last week - she was putting a display up at school and fell and broke her leg, she died the next day due to complications - only 41, such a shock and I think it's preying on his mind and reminding him of my brothers death earlier this year. I hope your boys are settling in and enjoying their new classes.

    That is awful Ziggy :( I expect all the children are finding this difficult to deal with. And her poor family :( Very sad!

    Hi Guys
    Thanks very much I'm fine now.
    Sorry for short reply have to rush off in an hour.
    Ziggy - so pleased for your son but how scary and awful about the poor teacher. I'm doing a few shifts in a pub kitchen. It's pretty full on. Last week I hand peeled 20kilos of potatoes!!

    Hello all :j
    Been stupidly busy and 'missed' most of the week :o

    Congratulations to Princess Pea and Mr Pea :)
    Sorry to hear about your stolen phone Bob - there are some scumbags about :mad: :( And desperate addicts too, I guess (a lot of the petty thefts round here are down to this, sadly, and we are just a little market town....)

    Anyway, today I have / will:
    Packed and posted 8 ebay sales
    Had a haircut, not moneysaving, but pretty basic and it really needed doing :eek:
    Made pizzas from stale loaf :D
    Frittata for dinner, to use up eggs and lots of lurking veg as we are going away for a couple of days tomorrow
    Load of washing dried on line
    Watered pots in front garden
    Made a batch of marmalade from frozen mixed citrus fruit :D
    OH palmed off a load of courgettes on to various neighbours :D

    Still got back garden (veg) to water...
  • Jaysus ziggy! :eek: how horrific! And what kind of complications lead to death from a broken leg? Sorry you don't need to reply but I was so shocked reading that. I hope your ds is ok x

    Bob how sucky... But if I know any girl with a stoic attitude it's you x

    Not much to report

    * went to work - is it too soon, after a year off, to be feeling like work is just such a massive ballache??? :rotfl:
    * took lunch & snacks
    * NSD :j
    * investigate veg and what I'm going to do with it all...
    * think bath, facial, pedi and bed is in order tonight :D
    * water veggies
    * get lunches & clothes ready for tomorrow
    * prep veg to bung in the sc tomozza morning

    That's all folks! Better go and start getting madam ready for bed

    Ziggy, Sorry to hear about your son's teacher, I'd seen the headline on the Daily Mail online last week, how sad. Such good news about the football, I wish my two were into sport, there's still time though I guess!

    DS has never stopped since he started walking at 9 months:rotfl:

    Another great day, at the moment I'm going through a really good patch and hope it continues - feeling happier and healthier than in a long time. Keep up the great "small things".

    Night all xx
