ATB sounds like your little one was over tired, glad he liked school. Hopefully once a routine is settled into he'll be better at coping with it.
Bossy love your new look lounge

We've spent the last couple of hours filling and sanding anywhere on the walls that needed it. I'm busy all day tomorrow but hope to give the pelmet and airing door their 2nd coat of gloss. Tomorrow night is trip to get final supplies then I can start painting the walls on Thursday - I forgot to do a before photo but I will try and do a work in progress one in the morning.

Going to watch that prog about New York the. Will pick DS1 up rom the open mic, if we get their early we will have to have a drink while we listen and wait.;)

Love the stripes and colours Bossymoo!

Updated earlier list - husbeast has been very quiet, cooked his own dinner (I didn't fancy any, so I just did DDs) and graciously offered to clean his own pan from his fry up... I didn't even reply to that given I emptied the dishwasher and was eyeing up the spatters on my cooker...

So as I dragged the vacuum out he offered to do the kitchen floor and wash it. Guess it's something.

I've done the bedroom, but not his side. I'm not chilling about this THAT quickly! *grumble*

Have found 6 pairs of DDs shoes to get rid of/sell - hooray!

My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey
  • Hello all,

Daily stuff done, paid stuff done, that's about it. I won't be able to do much tomorrow either, as I'm driving parents and aunty to a funeral tomorrow.
I'm really falling behind at the moment with stuff. Need a plan other than just not doing it.

Bossy room looks lovely, jealous! And you are right, dds didn't need coats or PE hoodies.

Glad Dd liked school ATB, I was looking at all the new starters this morning, they looked tiny!

Good news re work Mumof2 x

Bossy - room looks fab. Are you available next week to come down here?

I have cleared the kitchen table, wiped the table cloth and photographed the table to add to the items on the email to the auctioneers. It was good motivation to get it cleared.

MUST do the downstairs loo tomorrow. And the hall. If I can get the office done in the next couple of weeks it'll make a massive difference to me. I expect that will mean people are suddenly free to come and make dust again...
