I am becoming addicted!!!! I read online about a young couple with children who struggled with cleaning during the day so once kids were in bed they spent an hour each night doing housework then chilled enjoying the clean house, they also said how much happier they were in the morning to be greeted by a sparkling home ... omg this is so true - I did my fly lady kitchen hit list last night and I feel so happy seeing my lovely shiny sink this morning, its usually full of washing up that i have to do before i go to work (i'm the dishwasher)

Morning all. About to start the paid stuff. Can't get in the bedroom to do anything as DH is still asleep, but I've cleaned the toaster and washed up the breakfast dishes.
Conference calls now till 10.30.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Z gone in record time and caught the 30 mins earlier bus so pleased with her. I did her packed lunch to help her out; she'll have to do it the night before in future. Done S's packed lunch too.
J getting ready to go for his job chat; hope we have some good news.
I want to take Whiz for a walk after I take S to school; need a good blow out. Then cleaning followed by work - very exciting.
ATB good luck for dropping DD off; I'm sure she'll be fine but you had better pop some tissues in your pocket for just in case. Good luck with sorting out dog's crate too - maybe try starving him/her for 24 hours and then reintroduce food after?
Jacky things just don't seem to go to plan sometimes do they! Did you get to sneak a cookie?
Donna glad you are enjoying Flying so much and yes it is lovely to come down to a clear room isn't it. I've yet to become addicted but keep hoping!
Dancemum glad the fence is admire-worthy!!
Bossy yay to nice living room decorations!
Best get going ... catch you later xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Morning all, hugs posi vibes, get well & coping vibes for all who need them.
Sticks and spoons in a basket help yourselves .
Bathroom is all finished and I managed to get the door dry without anyone feeling the need to shut it or put their fingerprints all over it.
So far this morning I've shunted the bed across the room, most of the furniture and our clothes was stashed in other rooms last night, I've peeled the carpet back round the edges and sucked up 2 dysons worth of grey dust that was foam backing. Going to was down the remaining 2 walls worth of skirting, get them sanded and glossed before work then I have the wardrobe pelmet and the airing cupboard door to do. Highlight of my week will be trip to b&queue tomorrow night to get the roller so I can start on the walls. I may even be able to get the carpet fitter in early. He said if I finished the decorating ring and he'll split the jobs and do the bedroom one first.
My toots list is finally getting some progress.SPC~12 ot 124

Builders haven't been here since May, but the dust is still falling. I need to stop ignoring it and start tackling it. Constantly having to move stuff from room to room gets wearing, but once the snagging for upstairs is done, hopefully it will be less of an issue.
I have visitors on Friday and at the weekend, so need to make the house feel welcoming, even if it is still a WIP.0
