As always, I'm in as far as lupus lets me. :o

Mr LW has been asked to get the sheep-onna-stick and go round the tops of the walls and light fitments in the whole bungalow, as I can't stretch up to do this at present - he's doing his WiiFit just now, so I'll remind him when he finishes that.

I have my lovely little mate Ronnie here this week, so I'll take him for a bit of a trundle out shortly; the fresh air will do me good - feeling a bit bleurgh this morning.

  • All bathroom gloss done so that is completely done now, I've just got a little sign saying 'bathroom' to fix on the door tomorrow once the door is dry. Our bedroom door is glossed inside and out and the door frames but now it's time for work now so going to wrap my brush in cling film and do some skirting this afternoon.

LW sending you a gentle hug sweetie x

My cunning plan didn't work out - had a phone call from Z at bus stop to say bus wasn't showing on screen so checked and they've only gone and withdrawn the service!! I jumped in the car and drove her into school but in future she's going to have to get a bus which goes 30 minutes earlier than this one did as I can't drive her every day. She's not going to be happy when she hears this :(.

Done all the Level 1 cleaning and all the paid stuff that is in. Going to have a quick lunch and may even get Mr Dys0n out for a whirl around before more work comes in.

Sorry if I've already said but J is going to have a chat with a University re him lecturing there on a contractual basis - they're happy in principal (or principle?) but want to finalise details. It'd be part time but that's OK and he wants to do other self employed work too as a contractor so we would appreciate some Flylady vibes please!

    Morning all

Thanks for the lists. I'm in this week. DD isn't back to school until Wednesday so she can help out. She's doing the ironing as she's decided her uniform needs doing again...maybe she won't just shove everything in her wardrobe to one end next time.

Today is mainly laundry & lists day. We were going to run errands, but we weren't as productive yesterday as I hoped so we need to catch up with things and it will give us longer to run the errands tomorrow. I can't really run errands if I don't know how much money I have to spend on stuff can I? :o I also need to clean the livingroom and do some paid stuff as I have a deadline tomorrow night to meet which you can bet I wouldn't want to do after walking to and from town tomorrow :rotfl:

    Hello!

Just having lunch in the garden - it's a bit grey and breezy but not especially cool. Kiddies have been chalking - we are sat at "Frankie and Benny's" lol

Decorating has begun - she's already done the ceiling and whitewashed the feature wall. I've hung the washing out, wiped down all cupboard fronts and counter tops and we've picked and washed a bowlful of apples.

I've labelled all DS school stuff and I'm going to sort bags and pe kits etc now.

Thanks for the lists Natty and Valli. Much appreciated.
Oh I'd like to join - I'll start off with level 1 though. Housework is something that gets done sporadically (they'll be one day where everything is done and then it's not touched again for a while - I need to really get on top of it).

Welcome Laura  and anyone else who's sneaked (back) in. You're attitude sounds very much like mine!

*Successful university chat vibes* heading your way, Mumof2. Exciting!

Good luck to all school returners, littlies and not-so-little. I hope you all have a happily satisfying year.

I hadn't realised quite how much Flying I'd done yesterday but the fact that it took six hours should have given me a rough idea. The advantage is that today not much needs attention, hardly anything in fact. Jam-making finished this morning, 37 jars all labelled and put away, and apparently some of the pears are now ripe so chutney season will commence in the not too distant future. I still haven't found the chutney recipe of my dreams - richly gooey, warmly spiced, not chilli hot. Anyone got any favourites?
    Better is good enough.
