How is it 2pm and I haven't done anything!!!!
Well I've put some washing on the line, took the boys to get their hair cut and done the shopping. I also made some freezer oaty bars. They were so easy to make!!! Full of seeds and nuts and peanut butter instead of normal butter!! (Less fat) They were on the 'eat well for less ' programme and will definitely be a regular in our house!!
So on with a list.....
Manic Monday Kitchen Klean Up
Get a cloth, hot water and detergent and wipe down handles and switches
Clear the clutter;
Open all the windows and wipe the frames and sills and grotty areas
Wipe the sides (or worktops)
Empty the toaster crumb tray
Sweep/clean/mop the floor
Clean the windows
HHI - let's get it shifted
Tuesday - your boudoir beckons
Open the windows
Shift the floor/chairdrobe
Get the cloth and wipe switches and sockets
Now wipe the crud from the window frame
make the bed
dust and vacuum
Extras - put clean, dried, aired laundry away

So this is before, as much as loved the peacock blue (and I certainly lived with it long enough!), it was just too dark for that room:
And this is after - cream walls have now turned grey, and the blue has been whitewashed out and papered over.
Obvs no furniture yet, I want to clean the floor tonight and I'll "move in" tomorrow:Bossymoo

DD loved school but was tearful at around 6:30 - tired I think. DS has spent most of the late afternoon on the naughty step - sigh. I don't want to wish time away but his terrible twos are blinking awful.
