BD returned; sat outside the door whining away but managing to poke twigs through the letterbox to distract him. Bleugh. Going to vacuum I think as weirdly that makes me feel a bit better.

How is it 2pm and I haven't done anything!!!!
Well I've put some washing on the line, took the boys to get their hair cut and done the shopping. I also made some freezer oaty bars. They were so easy to make!!! Full of seeds and nuts and peanut butter instead of normal butter!! (Less fat) They were on the 'eat well for less ' programme and will definitely be a regular in our house!!
    So on with a list.....

I agree - the good thing about dogs is if they look like they're about to upchuck, you can pop them outside in the garden. If you did that to kids, you'd have SS on you like a ton of bricks.:D

*Makes "SHOO" noises at BD* I find cleaning something is therapeutic, too. As is brushing a dog - though in a way, that also counts as "cleaning something" I suppose, as in getting rid of loose fur. :o

MrsTinks I love the term "husbeast". I may well pinch it when Mr LW next p*sses me off. :D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

This does not bode well! Kids are eating now... Think I'll aim for baths at 5:30 then they will need some more food haha.

Good day had at play place - sand and water and zip slides etc.

Will strip all 3 beds today I think ready for washing later.

LR looks divine! Just finishing touches I think now! I love it <3

Nice to "see" you greenbee xx

So this is before, as much as loved the peacock blue (and I certainly lived with it long enough!), it was just too dark for that room:

    image_4.jpeg

And this is after - cream walls have now turned grey, and the blue has been whitewashed out and papered over.
Obvs no furniture yet, I want to clean the floor tonight and I'll "move in" tomorrow:

That looks lovely Bossy - really lifts the whole room!

Kaz well done on doing your tax return.

J back and he's been offered 10 days worth of work to start with from one chap but it is with a view to a fair bit more coming in from other people who he met today too. Desperately need more money coming in as my work is a bit hit and miss.

  • That is great news Mumof2 I hope it does turn into more work for him :j
    LR looks fab Bossy :T

DD loved school but was tearful at around 6:30 - tired I think. DS has spent most of the late afternoon on the naughty step - sigh. I don't want to wish time away but his terrible twos are blinking awful.
