Morning all. Hope you're all ok. Flying here yesterday consisted of changing the bedding and doing five loads of washing.

I'll make a start on today's list in a moment, but I am still mid decorating in the HSL.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning ladies

Didn't get much done yesterday as I was occupied with grumpy children, but today Small goes back to school and things may be a little calmer in the caravan.

Good news! We have had an offer from our insurers for the renovation work. It's low-ish, but DH is going to argue that to see if they could be a little more generous if they want a cash settlement, rather than the hassle of stage payments to builders etc. Fingers crossed please :p

Humph...tea has gone cold. Nothing worse...

  • Morning all,

Ha ha to the knickers! Yesterday was a write-off, I was driving all day pretty much taking relatives to a funeral.

So, to today. Children at school, hooray!! No paid stuff, hooray! House a complete tip, boo!

My aim for today is to do all the lists. Yes all.
Is anyone up for a six hour challenge?

Hugh toad sorted, my tax return is done and in time, now I just have to pay the outstanding amount by 31st Jan 2017!

Just brushed cat as he oddly has some matts on his coat and he has just taken a swipe at me and caught my finger!, he is now out on patio rolling around! later on, I will try again wearing gloves!

I've got a Hugh Toad, too. And *ouch* Matt-free cat coat vibes heading your way.

Congratulations ATB and Mumof2 on your OH's work. Less to worry about financially can only be a good thing.

Lovely room, Bossy. Looks very calming.

Will change a bed today, do the shower room and bathroom, and zip the carpet sucker around the ground floor. Kelpie's restricted to the sitting room and dining room so they need sucking more frequently but it does make life easier upstairs.

Ionafan, I'd happily pot up your bulbs for a spare sack of compost while the weather's fine!
    Better is good enough.
