But since he mentioned Oman Air and I've flown with Oman Air.

You've already agreed that the FinnAir ticket is not particularly good value, but here you are rambling on and on. Why?

No one really cares any more as to with whom you may or may not fly.

Again you concede that there is little difference in the Y product, but yet you wrote paragraph after paragraph as to why someone would pay £100 more for a less flexible ticket, smaller luggage allowance etc..

This thread needs to be put out of it's misery.
It contains some of the most ridiculous claims that I've ever read. It's an embarrassment. Really.
The main protagonist claiming fundamental differences and then running away without ever telling what they are, was just the final nail in it's coffin.
Then we have dickydonkin popping up every now and again writing paragraphs in defence of why someone would spend £100 more for an inferior offering and then, after all that, admits that he didn't consider the more expensive offering good value after all. So why waste time with such long posts for nothing?

And now the Yemen, Oman ridiculousness. It would have taken just a few seconds to check the facts, but instead, not unlike like the thread starter, not a moment's research was done before posting.

What's going on??!!

In the mid-1990s an Ethiopian Airlines flight was hijacked and eventually crashed in the Comoros.
