Dear me!
Just picked this up:
So if the OP stated he did not want to fly say Royal Jordanian, you would have selected that airline because he didn't want to?
My cutting and pasting can be selective as well.
I don't have any experience with RJ, so no, like everyone else in the thread, I may have asked about the other good ME airlines.
But since he mentioned Oman Air and I've flown with Oman Air.
You seem to be desperate to win an argument where there is no argument.
You've already agreed that the FinnAir ticket is not particularly good value, but here you are rambling on and on. Why?
Just argumentative?0 -

Btw I don't want to fly RJ for the same reason as Oman air.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Why are you quoting my post? It was dickydonkin who brought up RJ.
No one really cares any more as to with whom you may or may not fly.
Though you may have good reason not to fly with Air China: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-372988030 -
You seem to be desperate to win an argument where there is no argument.
Considering your persistent waffling about an economy seat where there is not so much difference in the Y product of whatever airline you choose anyway, you seem quite persistent in protracting an argument that you perceive does not exist.
I was very surprised this thread was still active!

Does no-one else remember the terrible crash on the Comoros? With Oman Air using a 'plane that would never have been allowed into EU airspace? And yet people talk about this Islamic carrier as if it were a reputable airline?
I seem to recall the aircraft that was hijacked in the Comoros was operated by Ethiopian Airlines, but I stand to be corrected.0 -

I thought that you wrote that you weren't coming back.
Again you concede that there is little difference in the Y product, but yet you wrote paragraph after paragraph as to why someone would pay £100 more for a less flexible ticket, smaller luggage allowance etc..
Seems that you are making a habit of simply missing the point and then going on and on...
Much better thank you, now I don't bother to read those arduous posts of yours.0 -
This thread needs to be put out of it's misery.
It contains some of the most ridiculous claims that I've ever read. It's an embarrassment. Really.
The main protagonist claiming fundamental differences and then running away without ever telling what they are, was just the final nail in it's coffin.
Then we have dickydonkin popping up every now and again writing paragraphs in defence of why someone would spend £100 more for an inferior offering and then, after all that, admits that he didn't consider the more expensive offering good value after all. So why waste time with such long posts for nothing?
And now the Yemen, Oman ridiculousness. It would have taken just a few seconds to check the facts, but instead, not unlike like the thread starter, not a moment's research was done before posting.
What's going on??!!0 -
Have you been on a narrow seat B787 or B777 in economy FunTime?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

In the mid-1990s an Ethiopian Airlines flight was hijacked and eventually crashed in the Comoros.0
