Offers to Asia on finnair - BKK from £455

Otherwise you will have everyone wondering why someone would create this thread on a website dedicated to bargains.
As you can see, only one person out of all who have posted on this thread, considers it a bargain and that is the person who started the thread.
So in the scenario I posted earlier, surely even you would agree that the person visiting Asia who stopped off in Helsinki to visit the family would be saving money, has a free layover, the routings are ideal for him and they get to see their loved ones in a combined trip.
The Finnair flight was Ideal in the scenario I described and the cheaper Oman Air would/could not be an option.
As for money saving, as I mentioned earlier, the person travelling Finnair has saved money by purchasing one ticket for two purposes - which for that person, in the situation described would represent value for money in many peoples eyes.0 -

Do you mind taking a few seconds from posting this utter tripe, in order to edit your post 67?0 -

I have already posted it so there would be no time saved really!
Provided you respond to the above and answer the narrow seating question. I have mentioned in a subsequent post about the Comores incident.
Everyone can see when you are stumped when your responses deflect from valid points with insults.
Quite pathetic and many may conclude you have some ongoing issues or you have too much time on your hands.0 -

It's not about saving time, it's just that v2002 has already deleted his post and I have deleted any reference to it.
You are so ensconced in trying to prop up your ego, that you've again entirely missed the point.0 -
You post badly researched comments, appear not to have travelled in economy on a narrow seat widebody aircraft, and suggest others post 'utter tripe'.
Badly researched?? :rotfl: Do you mean like claiming that a FinnAir fare for £455 is a bargain when it is much the same price as a direct flight with THAI.
I've flown with Omar Air a couple of times and had no problem with the width of the seat. Some are up to 18.5" wide. I usually sit up from in row 20 or 21 on their 788. No issues. I did my research. Did you?
You are just scrabbling around, desperately trying to justify your ridiculous initial post. It was a lemon from the very beginning. But you refuse to stop digging. Why?0 -
Let's compare seating shall we?
Outbound:
FinnAir A320 31" seat pitch 18" width
FinnAir A350 31" seat pitch 18" width
Oman Air A330 34" seat pitch 18" width
Oman Air 788 31" seat pitch 17.3" to 18.5" width
Inbound:
FinnAir
FinnAir A350 31" seat pitch 18" width
FinnAir A320 31" seat pitch 18" width
Oman Air
Oman Air 788 31" seat pitch 17.3" to 18.5" width
Oman Air A330 34" seat pitch 18" width
So....I've done my research. Oman Air has better seats overall.0 -

I think I have argued my point quite well as I have responded to all of your requests in respects of comparisons, but if you believe that was primarily to prop up my ego, then I have no issues with that.
This forum is all about peoples views, experiences and opinions and they will all differ - however, when views differ, they should be respected regardless without having to resort to insults and name calling which many will perceive as losing the argument as well as being downright rude.
It is water off a ducks back to me and I will give as good as I get - within the rules of the board of course, however, I can understand why some posters may be reluctant to post when they are bombarded with insults and ridiculed.
I see you have only a few posts, but you are not a 'newbie' are you? Your style of posting is very similar to someone who has had their posting privileges removed very recently.
A co-incidence?0 -

You can think whatever you like. No one here will take the slightest notice of your quite ridiculous opinions.
If you think that there is a Finn living in London, who is now rubbing their hands in glee, because now they can visit their family on their way to Bangkok, more power to you.
You certainly have a vivid imagination.
It also the second time that you have suggested that I am someone else.
Did that person give you the same rope that you appear to like to use to hang yourself?
I can honestly say since joining this board, that I have never seen as much nonsense written as I have seen on this thread. By both yourself and richardw. It's actually shocking.
It's certainly no coincidence that you have to 'thank' each other's posts. Everyone else can see your posts for what they are.
So pat yourself on the back if it makes you feel good about yourself.
In my opinion, I have rarely read such drivel. In fact, I just didn't bother most of the time.
Hopefully the thread has reached it's natural end. You are welcome to attempt to praise yourself once more in closing.0 -
..I've done my research. Oman Air has better seats overall.
How can it when Oman Air operate a B787 aircraft on a significant sector of the journey with nine seats across in a 3-3-3 configuration using a fuselage with a diameter smaller than Finnair's A350 aircraft, who incidentally use this on all of the journey LHR-HEL-BKK, meaning the economy passenger has less space overall, it's physically impossible.
3-3-3 economy seating on B787 aircraft has been universally criticised, why are you ignoring this and strongly recommending flights in economy on this aircraft?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
