Morning Pete
We launched this tariff today but availability is limited. If I might explain, it's only available through price comparison sites and for new customers. It won't appear on our website and our advisors can't switch anyone to it.
Hope this explains.

What happens if I tell Uswitch a complete set of fibs and pretend to be a BG customer, then sign up to the Eon V1 deal? Will that work?
Afterall it's not a bigger fib than Eon tell me the best deal is... when they offer something cheaper to new customers0 -

I like the way you think.
I would imagine when you start the switching process, you will have to choose from a list who you are switching from and E.ON won't be on that list.0 -

There have been plenty of cheap tariffs available ( for loyal customers,) in the last 12 months.
It's up to the customer to take them, not wait until the offers have gone?
Yeah, but the worm always turns ... especially on internet forums like this.

Anyone aware if there any big providers that have closed their warm discount applications for the broader group yet? Looking to change from Eon To Scottish power or British Gas, but don't want to be snagged by losing the WHD as it's a real help to me.0

Another lost E.ON customer here, quite happy with the service, and would have been happy with the very small price increase to move to the new E.ON Saver Fixed 1 Year version 1, avoiding any hassle from switching, but hey ho, obviously current customers are not a priority for E.ON.
And, yes I have studiously looked out for better deals in the last 12 months, but for me, nothing that E.ON has put out beat the USwitch Oct 15 deal I was on.0 -
Hi Malc,
Have come to the end of my 12 month switch (Ends on Thursday) & have started a switch.
I phoned eon to make sure they would keep me on my current tariff for 20 days following expiry of my fix (I am in the process of switching providers).
Problem is they don't know what im talking about:( They said I would be put on their normal tariff when the expiry date comes on Thursday.
Please could you look into this for me to make sure I am kept on my old tariff for the next 3 weeks.0 -

I would imagine the problems will start when you have to give your final meter readings - from E.on.Fred - Where's your get up and go?

Hi Newaccount.
I wouldn't post your account number in a public place.

Disappointing news about the Eon tariff. I'm currently fixed until end of February on an Eon collective deal. Although the BG tariff is marginally more expensive by £1 a month, the exit fee from Eon wouldn't be worth it. I would have switched to the new Eon tariff though, even if slightly more expensive. Now, I feel that I'll move away from Eon come February, thanks to their lack of customer loyalty.Outstanding Debt at 01/01/2020
