  • I have switched to british gas, having come from the eon collective switch, this morning I now see that another supplier may be added!...I would have gladly stayed with eon as I felt they where a good company to deal with and their website was easy to use, also the Tesco clubcard points where a bonus....heres hoping its not eon who come up with a better tarrif!.
  • Hi,its on the main page saying another supplier may be adding to collective switch, sorry not tech savvy enough to post it!
  • @shazzablue
No it actually says that an energy supplier is rumoured to be releasing its own tariff which will is rumoured to be cheaper than any of the collective ones.
No new deals can be added to a collective once the pricing is announced.
Of course this means you can use any comparison website or even the supplier's own website should that deal happen.

From the weekly email on the website
PS.There are rumours another provider may launch a tariff to beat BG. If so, it'll be added to our comparison results.

This morning Uswitch are offering me a EON Saver Fixed 1 Year V1 which is cheaper than the MSE offer. The details are:

Elec 10.133p per Kwh and 19.75pp day, Gas 2.99 per Kwh and 16.17pp day.

It isn't shown on the Eon website so perhaps Eon aren't offering the best rate to MSE or on their website. Only snag, Uswitch aren't offering to do it for you.

Next up looks like SSE 1 yr fixed v8.

    Morning Pete

We launched this tariff today but availability is limited. If I might explain, it's only available through price comparison sites and for new customers. It won't appear on our website and our advisors can't switch anyone to it.

    Hope this explains.

    No mutual loyalty then?
  • I switched to that Eon deal today, hope I have done the right thing!
  • I am with EON. Why no loyalty to customers who have shown faith in you?
  • Aww Malc, thats just not on :( I want to stay with EOn :(

NO it's not on, obviously customer retention is low priority.....I'm off.
