Well, after a few weeks of losing nothing, I've managed 4lbs this week. :j

Just trying to work out why

I'm hoping for a loss, but I can never really tell until thursday night. I'm trying not to weigh myself so I am flying a bit blind at the moment and I'm not sure I like it.

I feel like I might have lost something though!

Dragon ((hugs)) hon, you are worrying me with your daily food intake - could you at least try and have some fruit for breakfast and lunch? You shouldn't be eating nothing. Grrrrrr to the doctors who have been telling you to cut down without checking what you are actually eating, they're sooo irresponsible.

    Hi Snaggles

I am trying to up my intake but it actually makes me sick to eat too much (by my standards - begger all by anyone elses!), about the only time I eat more is if I go out for a meal! But that is a) expensive and b) during the next week I cut back even more .

What I plan to do is gradually introduce a smidge more food - get used to that - a bit more, get used etc!

  • dragon, i really think you need to try to eat more hun, as im sure this is actually stopping the weight loss rather than helping it. It may be a psychological thing rather than a physical inability to eat. I would suggest keeping a food diary, and make sure its all healthy stuff what you are eating - dont eat that cream cake just because you havent eat enough calories!!! As Ive said before, aim for 1800 cals a day, but build it up over time and your body will get used to it!!
    Hope this helps hun xxx

    Hi all.

Just hard roast chicken for lunch, very yummy.

Introducing more food sounds like a very good idea Dragon. I'm suprised that your doctors have let you eat like that.

Make sure that everything is healthy and make sure you eat something when your hungry.

    Hi Lucy

For a long time the docs weren't interested in what I was eating just "you are eating too much, cut down". When one Doctor actually saw what I was eating (after saying a fortnight before the usual "cut down, you are eating too much", and me sobbing that I couldn't cut out any more food) she looked at everything else in my life and saw that "oh you are on steroids! Hmm you have been on them for x years and you have been overweight for x-1 years, looks like a corrolation!" At last a vindication that I am not just a porky, lazy, crippled winger but someone with a valid problem!

They are trying to sort it out (with the understanding that they helped cause the problem in the first place), the only problem is I am going to have to change Doctors surgery before too much longer - and I will probably have to go through all this again!

Oh and Lucy - these days I am never hungry!
