still not weighed myself yet, altho rather than being impatient about it i think im more scared than anything, i dont think ive put on weight, just not lost any!!
I bet you have!
I deliberately haven't weighed myself since my Saturday weigh in but I caved in this morning. I was sure I'd have put on weight but I'd actually lost another 1.5kgs but I'm not counting it just yet, only official Saturday weighs count. If its still gone by then, brill, but if not I'll just put it down to a fluke.
Just goes to show you cant always judge what's gonna happen just on how you feel, its all about what the scales say:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -

Put them away in a cupboard. I was doing the exact same thing, every time I went for a wee I would weigh myself because the scales were in the bathroom and believe me with the amount of water I've been drinking that was like every half hour. I thought out of sight, out of mind, and so far its working (well except earlier obviously
). I'm not going to weigh myself until the official Saturday weigh in now though, no matter how tempted/scared I might be.

Thanks so much Lucy.Your a star.I started today feeling really down now I feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. My baby is being christened on the 21st October and I want to look nice so hope to have lost some weight.
Does anyone work night shifts and how do they cope with eating sensibly, I really struggle.0 -
:hello: Hi SS-Shal
I work all sorts of sh*tty shifts which makes it difficult at times, I make my own soup (nowt special just carrots, veg stock, garlic coriander cooked till carrots soft then blitzed) and take it in a flask also take LOADS of fruit with me and then perhaps salad and cottage cheese. I am going to SW class so have to think a bit about which plan to follow (ie original or green)then I just take loads of food that's free on the plan to pick at. I also make sure I have a biggish meal before I start work at 8pm. I also take low cal /low fat snacks with me (snack a jacks etc) if I really have the munchies (happens a lot on nights lol)
HTH Good luck,
KathyxNuts oh Hazelnuts:rotfl:0 -
Thanks Kathie I agree about the munchies. We are also given lots of "thank you" chocs by our patients, so there is always lots of temptation around.I also have a long drive home so to keep awake I stop halfway at petrol station and usually buy a bar of chocolate. It will all have to stop.0

Well done Beanie!! :T :T :T :T
Dragon ((hugs)) hon, you are worrying me with your daily food intake - could you at least try and have some fruit for breakfast and lunch? You shouldn't be eating nothing. Grrrrrr to the doctors who have been telling you to cut down without checking what you are actually eating, they're sooo irresponsible."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
PS Forgot to say, I have stayed the same.....did about 5 hours walking this week too, but I did eat chocolate, chips AND a chicken kebab (plus a 'few' drinks....;)). So I'm quite happy with that.
Onward and, er, downwards.... (weightwise)
