I'm doing ok MM, had a big bowl of fruit for breakfast, although getting a bit peckish. Still no hot water so all the walking up and down stair's with the kettle must be doing me some good!

How about you? If your eating ok the walking shouldn't make much of a difference I wouldn't have thought.

  • thats the trouble lucy, im not eating ok!!!!! Its not like ive had a massive takeaway or anything but ive been nibbling naughty things at work - those flakes are just so irrisistable!!!!

Gonna make up for it today tho, take the dog for a run n stuff plus do more housework - blimey by the time i reach my 2 stone target my house should be sparkling from top to bottom, its all i do to keep my hands from straying to the cupboards!!!

Yeah all the walking up and down the stairs will do u good, try and "power-walk" while you do it, it burns your thighs for a bit but then u get used to it!!

  • Try making sure that you have loads of nice low fat things to snack on. As I do Slimming World, I make up loads of low syn desserts which I can have when I want something sweet.

  • Hi Everyone

you all seem to be doing so well, i seem to be eating ok but no time for exercise, having to clean house from top to bottom as we have friends coming to stay for a week! So much to husbands delight! i have to empty and clean out wardrobes, cupboards etc, i tend to be a bit obsessive about these things.
I now have lots to list on ebay though:T

Dragon it does seem that you arent eating enough! My good friend also can't exercise and has the same problem losing weight she tends to lose very slowly and has to be sooo determined. good luck with it.
  • Hi Lucy
would you be able to give me some ideas for these low fat desserts as sweet things tend to be my weakness. Thanks
  • Of Course.

What sort of thing do you like?

  • Anything

    hmmm maybe thats the problem.
  • Ok I have a recipe book full of desserts, but I like the chocolate and cherry roulade (although I use fresh strawberries rather than cherries) I've got a recipe for rice pudding although I haven't tried it.

I'll have a look through the book and will Post some of the title and mail you the ones you fancy, but I'll have to do this tonight as the book it at home. Although the roulade is online if you fancy it.

  • the roulade sounds lovely although i'm not to keen on cherrys so would probably use strawberries too, i love rice pudding have only just discovered it again when i started making it for DD, however as she is a baby i tend to eat hers which is full fat milk! I have a total addiction to chocolate so anything with choc would be great.
Thank you i would never have thought of making low fat desserts when i'm trying to cut down, i tend to just try and cut out these things altogether and then crave sweet things
  • Cool

I will PM you the recipe for the Roulade and will have a look for some more when I get home.
