Dragon, may I ask a stupid question? Instead of lecturing you regarding your weight have the doctors ever thought of rehabilitating you??? Even if you can't walk at all you should be able to do some gentle exercises with a skilled physio in a swimming pool?? The water will support your weight, You could have ambulance transport there and back so you shouldn't have to walk too far, and there should be equipment to help you into the pool. (Forgive me if you've mentioned this in a previous post)I like the others am REALLY concerned about your lack of food intake. You are not eating anywhere near enough, but after reading your doctors' attitude towards your general situation I am not surprised you have gone this way. Some doctors need a kick up the A*se regarding the way in which they speak to patients:mad: Keep posting hun, and keep your chin up, we are all rooting for you:grouphug: Love and best wishes

Nope to the rehabilitation - I used to belong to a gym where I used the pool but it got to the stage that I couldn't get there and so we gave it up (saving £100.00 a month!), all the local pools I cannot get in and out of (well in isn't a problem - fall into the water! Out - nope they have the ladder style steps which I cannot use).

So I need to lose some weight so I can start using my bike again (well when we replace it as the local toe-rags have stolen them AGAIN!) - but WHEN we get into the new house I should be able to start walking around the village a bit as we are close to the pub, shop and Post Office! Regretably the pub is the closest :rotfl:

I am astonished you have not been referred by your GP Dragon. Your attitude is amazingly positive despite your situation and I take my hat off to you!! Good luck this week.xx

    Thanks Kathy!

DH is making a quorn cottage pie tonight so that will double if not treble my Kcals for the day! (I slept late :p, and then had a thick veg soup as opposed to my usual veg stock with a few small pieces of veg in!) - so I am doing quite well today!

Whoops, did anyone notice that bit of cake I just ate ;)
Its DH birthday today and because I'm such a kid at heart I had to buy him a birthday cake (only a little one) and of course I couldn't just sit there and watch him eat it so I had to have a slice.. not a huge slice but not a small one either :o
Who wants to bet that the miraculous 1.5kgs I had dropped earlier in the week disappears by weigh in day.. Oh well time will tell and there's always next week :D
I think I might take a walk up to the library tomorrow to see if they have any work out DVDs I can borrow to work some of it off.
