Can I join? I've been dieting for the last 7 weeks and have lost 20lbs already, but there's always more where that came from :o. I need to lose about another 20lbs to reach my target weight (not my ideal weight by any means ) so all motivational help is appreciated. I want to be a size 16 by Christmas, and as I started at a size 22 and am already heading for a size 18 I don't think its too ambitious.

Can I join in???? I was going to pledge a stone by Christmas, but I do have a lot to lose, and you are all aiming so high!!! So I will go for stone and half.
I have done a sort of eating plan, not SW or WW but one I stupidly paid for to get a private diet written for me based on my lifestyle (shift worker - get hungry at wrong times). Was done by a personal trainer/dietician. Happy to share if any one needs a change?

Can't afford to join a club at the moment, so this seems like a good alternative.

With money, my challenge is to get all Christmas stuff without using CC's and get my monthly outgoings within budget (still struggling at the moment). Also pay off SOMETHING!!

  • Hi everyone

I've been doing well on the exercise front. Gym on Sunday for 50 mins and this morning for 35 mins at 6am

I haven't been that good foodwise :o I've cut out a lot of the rubbish and I haven't bought lunch at work yet (but it is only Tuesday...)

I'm quite lucky in the fact that I can eat quite a bit before I put weight on so I'm hoping that I can lose weight by cutting out snacks and exercising.

To give you an idea of calories I've scoffed today... :o

Small bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes with semi skimmed for b'fast
    Banana at 11
11.30 am - A piece of sundried tomato bread (a big bit) with parma ham, chutney, salad, pkt of walkers sensations.
7pm - homemade fishcakes (fried), sweet potato wedges roasted in olive oil, peas. Slice of strawberry cheesecake (my daughter bought it yesterday as a treat - rude to say no :D )

I've drunk lots of water today and had 1 cappuchino out of the drinks machine at work (free). And a cup of tea and prob have another in a minute.

Haven't weighed yet and plan to go to the gym in the morning again.

Will weigh on Friday morning and if I've not lost anything, I will have to stop being a pig. I didn't eat anywhere as near as many calories yesterday, honest :p

Oh, and I don't normally eat that much for lunch, someone else made it for me today.

    Morning Guys!

For those of you who haven't been doing very well, can I join that club!?! I've been rather bad myself :o although I promise to be good from now on.

beanielou - well done on the loss! Everything that comes off needs to be celebrated!

Safesound - Congratulations on the loss so far! Keep up the good work and you will hit your target in no time!

Right I have not long had a big veggie cooked breakfast, so hopefully will be running on that for a while yet. I'm going to have a salad for lunch and I've not got as far as dinner yet. But I'll be snacking on loads of fruit and hopefully I wont have put on to much tomorrow night.

Keep up the good work everyone
