    Walkit.com suggests it's:

    Distance: 2.3 miles
    3.7 km
    Walking time: 34 mins fast
    46 mins medium
    69 mins slow
    Calorie burn: 200 fast
    188 medium
    176 slow

I walk medium... But presumably I could get away with saying 200 as it's all up hill? ;) xx

    Hi!

Can I join too please :) Think I have gained (again) this week - would like to lose at least 10lbs by Christmas (well, would love to lose a stone actually! but think that might be hard). I will go from whatever I weigh in at tomorrow - and will update my sig then.

Taxi - you going to meetings? I go to the Cleveleys meeting on a Tuesday night :)

I've been very good today.... I bought 3 jacket spuds, 3 small tins of beans and some grated cheese and 3 muller lights for my lunch at work, it was rather nice, so that's 2moro & wed sorted.... and it only cost £5.12!! Bargain.

  • Any chance of a bloke joining in here? :p

I'm a man whose seven months away from turning forty. Without going into details, although it is all on this site in various threads, I've had an awful time these past few years and I've comfort eaten to cope with it. In eight years since moving to Bristol, I've put on six stone in weight. I'm tall so carry it quite well but recently I've noticed that it's going on again.

I'd like to try and get down to 15 stone by my birthday. I won't be weighing in until next Friday (28th) and will start on the Monday, October 1st as it ties in with my debt reduction stuff too. I've no real idea what I weigh now although it's 20 stone plus, I'd think. So around 70lbs in 30 weeks will be tough but manageable. Being an ex-SW member, I know that I will lose a shedload to start with then steady up a bit which is good, so maybe three stone by New Years Eve might be my party challenge target.

    Morning Everyone!

Welcome Yeovilmac!! This is definately not girly's only. Everyone is welcome, hope everything goes well for you.

Well yesterday was a better day for me, and I am aiming for a very good one today. I have had a fruit salad for breakfast (Pineapple, melon and some grapes) and I have boiled egg and bacon rolls for lunch and loads of fruit for snacks in between!

Although I think I will have put on this week :o But nevermind, there is always next week!! So long as I have lost all my extra weigh by May I will be a happy bunny.... I want to be 10 stone by my 1st holiday in about 4 years!!!
