Frogga, just read the end of yesterday's thread - we'll have to be careful what we say with so many taking us literally  What did you do with your onions?

    Morning Everyone

Not a good morning - I overslept and was an hour late for work!!!!

Been very busy so only just managed to get on here. Meeting went ok last night and have a free night out tonight on the company

Things are slowly happening with buying the flat, being chased for money from the solicitors but explained to them I'm not paying until I hear from the surveyors that everything's ok with the valuation.

Haven't got round to making banana bread yet, but hoping to this afternoon. Need to find time for a bath, nap and get ready to go out!!!

Working all over the weekend - football game and normal shift. Getting some time back for that as they no longer give me overtime money:mad:

    Hope everyone's ok

  • Hello everybody,

Had a lovely day here with Granny's little helper. White haired indeed. :p Slightly grey maybe. :D We've had a great day on the potty as well. Only a couple of *wee* accidents. ;) Made some pumpkin & feta fritters for tea tonight which were delicious. Made oven chips & fresh from the garden :p creamed spinach. Thanks to all those for the lovely comments. It was very appreciated after all the hard work I put into supervising DH. :rotfl:

PP Hope all goes well at the dentist.
Grannyboom Glad your Mum looks better

Well off to have a shower & chill out. Hope you all have a lovely day. Byeeeee

    Hi everyone!
I've got a day off today woo hoo:j I love days like today because 95% of my time is taken off during the school hols to look after the small person [and rightly so] but I'm never one to turn a bit of me time down.
Fairly productive OS wise today so far...beds stripped and towels changed. I've hung out one load and got a second in the WM as I type. I also finally got round to letting the hems down on 3 pairs of the small person's trousers. He must have grown during the hols as I noticed that he was sporting a rather fine pair of ankle flappers when I was helping at cubs the other night:rotfl: :rotfl: Just aswell I always turn them up first at there don't appear to be a pair of trousers on earth that fit him!!
After dropping said small person off at school I nipped into town and popped into Sainsburys. Managed to pick up some school shirts for him for next year with 25% and also some reduced highlighters which may just ahem appear in his stocking:D For those of you who've been hit by the recent price hikes Wilko [if you have one locally] are still selling their milk for 91p for 2litres.
Anyway best sign off as am due to meet my friend for lunch and a look at tiles and worktops this afternoon.
Hope you all have a fab OS weekend...I shall be nosing my way thro' the Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary objects book I collected from the library first thing.
