Well done on the PB wins. Was there a biggie on that or just lots of little wins?

I have won every month that I have held the maximum amount, sometimes just £25, usually more, the biggest prize I had was £500, and that month I won  a £100 as well.  It is much more fun than my ISA, which is also on a 5% return, but will be dropping down soon as my fixed rate will be over.

That sounds like a hectic and tough spring …

I’m glad you are being wary / prepared ….

Sister if step gran sounds quite a character 😊 There’s been a lot of ‘old age and death’ around me in recent months (never mind the bereavements earlier in the year) and I am starting to get an insight into why older people’s circles shrink. There’s only so much loss, suffering and misery you can stand, and if you have a good dollop in your own life it’s hard to add that if others to it! Good idea about the getting out and socialising 😊

Isn’t it progress that DS1 is getting out of his room, out of the house, off his gaming machine and interacting with peers? Hearing about their jobs and income might give him some ideas or incentive?

Maybe the ‘staging’ is a motivating factor because you get so little positive feedback about what you do in the house from the other occupants and staging means someone else will praise it (EA) or pay for it (buyer)? I would find it very hard to keep going with improvements here if Mr KK just ignored them …

I got paid today too. Also feels weird as I think they’ve paid me too much! 😉😂

Enjoy your NYE and perhaps 2025 could include more fun / more time for you?

We do our own decorating 😊 @debtfreewannabe321 definitely does her own decorating - read her latest posts for the full ‘joy’ of papering a ceiling … 😉
I even persuaded Mr KK to put coving up in the living room last year - the rest of the house has it and to my eye the living room just looked ‘unfinished’ without it.
