Sounds to me like boss lady sees you as a threat ….As at 15.08.25:
- When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £232,244
- OPs to mortgage = £12,048 Interest saved £5,675 to date
Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030

However, if boss lady is either immature or insecure for some reason, she won’t understand that you are not pitching for her job and will be trying (either consciously or unconsciously) to keep your profile low ….

Well, the money came in this morning (still no ground rent) household bills paid, credit card paid, bus pass for #4 bought, kids out the door to school. Tonight is parents evening for DS3 who is doing GCSEs after Easter. It will be followed by a yellow sticker raid in Tesco.
All the roof money is in the roof account. (Yippee!) and scaffolding goes up next Monday. Gave DH his birthday card, he told me that his birthday is tomorrow. His birthday is today, surprise! He is a day behind himself.
Wonder if I have won on the PBs? Will fit out tomorrow....

And the good news keeps on coming!!! DH applied to be a Senior Fellow on a project in Swiss-land (remember that?) and he got confirmation today he has the gig! It is now 7 weeks long, starts next Spring, and he is very excited! They wrote to confirm he has accommodation for that time. He starts an evening class in German tomorrow, so he will have incentive, and they will see how well 2 years of Du0ling0 has prepared him and what level he can function at.Whoop whoop! Well congrats AND happy birthday to Mr F. I can sympathise with him about the date though. It is also my DSs birthday today & I didn't realise how close it was until the end of last week when a card arrived from my sister. Talk about an OMG moment I thought SHE was loosing the plot & sent it a month early. I really don't know where this year has gone.As for the PBs well I haven't heard from agent million even though one of them was in my area & referred to an amount I bought.3

Glad my thoughts about lady boss were helpful. It’s a PITA thing but probably easy to accept if you can ‘see’ the dynamic I think. The good thing is that you will now have masses of proven, transferable skills to use in a similar but different institution as and when you ever want to …. 😉
