Numbers!!

Mortgage was £77,499.99, regular payment went out and with a small o/p of £45.88

 takes me down to £76,999.99  I am planning on a big o/p next month.

Monthly interest was £106.42

Daily interest is now £3.80  which is a 7p a day saving from last month because of the big o/p on 1st Feb, and a total  saving of 12p a day since the start of the year. Yay!

No more  foxcubs, sorry apple/kerri .   Purely in it  for the fun now, not the babies.  I am 47, and have got used to sleeping at night in a bed for two, not with 5 bodies, some feeling the need to sleep diagonally, and all needing to have at least one foot touching a part of me at all times.   I never ever stopped them from getting into our bed in the middle of the night, but they knew their heads were at the foot end, on my side of the bed, and we had very few sleepless nights because of it.  They just wandered into our room, hopped into bed, and went back to sleep (it was a king size). Sometimes I didn't even notice.

I have written confirmation I have been underpaid £150, for no reason whatsoever, and it will be in my account before close of play today.  I wonder how many other people they do this to?  So far I am 2 for 2. It is casual work, no contract, nothing written, it looks really shoddy for a company making an awful lot of money and mostly employing students.

Well it seems for pay Friday is the new Wednesday, but the money is now in my account, so shunted it off to savings until I need to claw it back when the bill for the mattress and house insurance comes in at the end of the month.

Really have to wonder how many students don't notice or get fobbed off with 'maybe it is tax & NI?'.

Chucking it down here again, for the majority of the last week,nsome laundry will need to be done, I have a tiny shopping list made  to get us through the weekend.

I think the diet starts here. I have been given an unopened bag of FastSlim powder by a friend that was very unimpressed by it, so that is at least 8 meal replacements - breakfast of fruit salad, lunch of S/F shake, supper of real food - will take measurements and weights later. Time to get on with this, the sooner it starts, the sooner I have something to celebrate  

Think I am going to go for a mooch around after dropping the kids at school. There are some c/s I have only been in once this year - they have started charging for parking, and to be totally honest they can F That for a Game of Soldiers!! Will park on the other side of the busy road and walk a little bit further.

Step-gran has decided to plague the life out of the gp, she is putting all her ills down to 'the covid' rather than a heart complaint, although she has low blood pressure, is swelling up, is breathless, can't eat,  and now has 2 heart tablets to take, she is utterly convinced the symptoms should go away in 6 weeks, because it is the after effects of covid and it can take that long.  So the gp sent a nurse to take bloods and samples from all 4 corners, and she is waiting for the results that she will either refuse to understand, or not take in.  She has had 2 people in for tea and biscuits this week, and she is bored and lonely and on the phone sometimes a couple of times a day repeating the same thing she said an hour before.

Still adamant she wants to remain in her own house.

In other news, DS1 rocked up yesterday for the weekend, and will go back for his 'social activities' and is planning on coming back on Thurs for next weekend.  What  is nice, is that his phone keeps going off as his London Friends are asking him if he wants to go to Arseda, or if he wants to come round and play a  board game.  So he is making friends, but just wants someone to feed him and know that people are around him.  

So I have to bake, and rejig the menu plan a little, and stay closer to home - just realised he has to be out of halls on June 5th, which is only  3 months away.  Eeek!
