Today I have been a busy sausage. Got up and pleased the judgemental Green Owl on my phone who wants me to learn Spanish, waited til DH got up - his phone had been going off about a parcel being delivered this morning (it turned up as I was cooking supper) so I had to wait until he was up, so I could go out.Went to Herr Ron, got 10 cal jellies (why is the jelly powder full of pork while the ready made jellies in pots are all labelled vegan????) Anyway 6 ready made jelly pots for £1 should keep DS4 on the right path - he is grump today. Then to Herr Liddle for a climbing plant and some bulbs for the kids to give me next Sunday, some greek frozen stuffed filo rolls for lunches next week with a pile of greenery. Then to the L0r0s hospice warehouse charity shop. Got DS4 5 T-Shirts for 50p each, a dress (top and skirt combo) in green satin with a black mesh overlayer for £3 (for me, not DS4), 6 new looking pillowcases (2 blue, 2 white Oxford style, 2 purple) for 10p each, and a black top with draped sleeves for 50p. So I was very happy with my haul, and came home for lunch.Watched half a football match, then went off to the other L0r0s shop at half time, found some new high thread count white fitted sheets for £1, one single, one double, one wheeled underbed storage box for 50p, one new navy blue duvet set with pillowcases for £1. All in all a good haul, came home had a cuppa and watched the second half of the match. DH was complaining he was tired, so I hung the washing on the line and went out again, to all the charity shops in the local town and did a trawl of them all - ended up only buying 2 wicker wastepaper baskets (£1.50), a lamp (£2), a white shirt for DH (£1) and 2 pots of icecream(£3) but I wandered around a lot and so I will leave it for another week before going anywhere near the shops. I did print out £7.50 worth of vouchers for Mr T's Shopping Emporium, but it was 4.30 by the time I had trawled all the c/s, so came home, I can use them another day.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Well done on the CS hauls, i don't know if i just don't look properly but i don't seem to have such luck. I'm sure DS4 would've looked fab in the skirt / top combo

Ok, I am feeling traumatised about the whole 'total daylight at 5.30am' scenario. I know the clocks go forward next Sunday but honestly, I hate getting up when it is already light. Sunscreen is going to have to make an appearance soon. Hayfever meds are ready and waiting.Only 3 weeks of school left until we break for Easter here. 15 school runs to suffer through. Flippin' woe is flippin' me today.S/G is still in hospital - she has been moved to a room of her own with en-suite after she kicked off about not being able to go to bed when she is tired. She sleeps for about 20 hours a day now, and her bedtime is 6.30pm and she is ready for it by then. The ward did not accommodate this so she told them she would get into bed herself and refuse to get up again unless they let her go to sleep. She is very pleased with herself, but she is going to get bored very quickly and start to feel like she is being isolated (just like being at home then). I do hope nobody strangles her while she is in there.

I'm like you f0xh0les, hate getting up when it's light (we have white blinds too - bad planning, so as soon as the sun puts his / her hat on, the room is lit up).
I would be quite happy to stick with sunrise 6.30 - 7am and sunset 7pm. I'm an autumn baby and light evenings past 9pm do nothing for me at all.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

It is for a local college that does GCSE and A level courses and practical courses and apprenticeships too. So fingers crossed it will be a nice little revenue stream if I get it. The pensioners that I volunteer with have decided they are not going to do invigilation at all this year again because of covid and kids and it not being worth the risk. They might go back to University invigilation, but they are all staying well away from under 21s at the minute. But they will have been out of the game for 3 year then, and not getting any younger....4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
