morning f0xh0les
I'm not dressed yet either but i havent been as productive as you! I have done a couple of work emails and put one load of washing in the machine. I am bulk making soup tonight for DD2 who i'm returning to uni tomorrow - i like those food bags from the big Swedish emporium, they are good for storing soup in the freezerGood luck with sock matching and shoe hunting!

I'm just back in from a run...have my hands wrapped round a cuppa...it is foggy and cold....(my acknowledgement of the cold was full length leggings and keeping my jumper on
I get very hot when running)

Well, nearly £800 should be winging its way into my account in the very soon.Glad it is over, I was in a hall with around a thousand people a day, actually it was probably more. For 6 days. Telling people to put their mask over their face as it does no good around their neck. Tested negative every morning, and every morning since. Minor flippin' miracle!I applied for a job this afternoon, as a trainee phlebotomist. It is such a good word. Will wait and see what happens. Either way it was a good introduction to filling in online job app forms. I have a 100% success rate so far. I have only applied for one, mind.As a result of still having money in my account - filled my car with petrol and it cost me £50!!!!! I wasn't even on the red wedge of disaster, and the beep of shame was a long way off. I have been filling it up every 2 weeks for a long time, but I let it run to 3 weeks as I was only doing 4 miles a day last week, it cost £40 last time I filled it up to the top properly - orange light, red wedge and the accusatory beep and everything! Oh well, at least I can afford it. It was a shock though. This week we are eating out of the freezer and the fridge - I filled it up before going off to work, and dh made pasta and red sauce twice, made flatbreads and hummus once, and left half the stuff in the fridge!! So Monday was cauliflower curry, yesterday was burgers and salad, tonight is tofu and mushrooms in black bean sauce, tomorrow is Chick*n curry, Thurs is veggie schwarma shred, flatbreads, pickles, and salad, Friday is using up the other random leftover packets of assorted burgers - 2 chick*n, 2 pulled p*rk, 4 breakfast patties, with wedges and baked beans.A 'sad veg' stew will appear, the 'unloved veg' will make a surprise appearance in a roasted veg salad, a saag aloo will appear as I found 2 forgotten ys bags of spinach in the freezer.Which means apart from the size 7 shoes I just bought for DS3 online (same shoes as before, one size up) there will be very little spending going on this month.I booked us for 2 nights (3 days) in London at the start of Feb Half Term, will use m-i-l's train refund vouchers, and will book tickets for museums and me and 2 kids + DS1 will muck about and have fun for a couple of days. DH can come on the Sunday, but only for the day, so will send him home on the train, and we will come back 48 hours later. I have a list of cheap and free things to do, so it should only really cost me food - yha was £50 a night for a 5 bed room - then if DS1 wants to stay over he can, or he can go home. Have written to MP for a free tour of parliament - it was worth a punt, and will be worth it if he comes up trumps.YHA has a 25% off sale right now on bookings before Feb for trips taken up to March.I have managed to promise step-gran that I will go over there for Easter. I might try to bump it forward - or at least go over for a weekend to get her paperwork out of the way, so that I can stay for a shorter time over Easter.Really looking forward to the end of the month, as the Child Benefit, my pay, and the housekeeping go in on the same day, and Feb is always a really short month. So all is good. The roof still leaks though. Must get on with getting that booked in .4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Ration cards might be good for shifting a few pounds for those, like me, that need it. My latest weakness snacking is fruit and nuts - I did a calorie calculation and well OMGI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine3
