It is one of those things you have to muck about with each time, depending on how much water you can wring out of the courgettes, depends on how much dry you put in.  Once you get the right dropping consistency of the batter then you are away!

I tend to base mine on this one https://www.foodtolove.co.nz/recipes/zucchini-and-carrot-bhaji-15242    but I do tinker with it depending on how the first one comes out, and of course, I sack off the coriander leaf (bleugh!!!).   But it is a marvellous base for so many veg, even sad or bendy ones.

I now have a mental image of minestrone type soup but with Hen night-esque willy shaped pasta in it ... please make it and serve it to the in-laws

Not sure they do gluten-free obscene pasta shapes, I would have to buy a playdough machine and extrude my own, and I do not love them enough to go to the bother of that.

Or we have just discovered a gap in the market and we will all be millionaires by the C word.

Deborah would totally have gone for that if she was still on the panel, and for some reason I think Theo would've too.

Peter would have turned into a giggly schoolboy and Duncan would try to keep a straight face.

Well I am all about spreading the love, or at least joy, around my table.  Might break out the dino-pasta though.

It's not about how much you love them. It's more about how much you want to enjoy their visit
