I can only concentrate on feeling pants in one area at a time @apple_muncher , so the hayfever has subsided while I have a sore arm - perversely the arm I did not have the jab in is really stiff.  

Uneventful night, woke early, went to  Herr Ron, Mr T's and Herr Liddle early doors, scored 2 mystery F&V boxes, got to work just before 9am, worked through til 2, went to Herr Aldee, walked in the door and was just hit with a wave of tiredness like never before (unless pregnant) could not remember what on earth I was there for (it was lunchbox tat for Monday), why I had gone in anyway, so wandered about aimlessly, every aisle, bought a few bits (sub £20) and decided to drive home as it is a 7 minute drive and even I could do that.

Then I sat in the car and sent everyone a text to come and unload the car as I was no longer able to. 

Right now pretty much everything aches, with a little chill down the spine every now and again.  My kidneys are hurting. Glad I managed to make it through work though. Now I can chill out until the school run on Monday. 

Going to have a bath, and if I have to eat my supper in bed, then that is what I am going to do.

Scored some free rhubarb and am really looking forward to making a rhubarb sponge and a rhubarb crumble.  I love custard!

Oh dear, an unfinished sentence, leaving us hanging... Hope you are ok.

Our Herr L boxes are never a mystery as they have no top to them. Just as well as some of them have fluffy growth on the produce inside...!

Somehow I just know where that rhubarb might have come from...

This week we had celeriac (of course), courgettes, red chilli peppers, sacks of spuds, grapefruit, mango, rhubarb, starberks cold coffee in a cup (w-t-flippety -flip is that about???) and some very unripe bananas.  Plus a whole box of g/f bread.  Pretty much everything but the celeriac and rhubarb went.  A few sticks of rhubarb asked to come home with me, and only a monster would have said no.

Some went off to the LOcal hOSpice, some went off to a different f/b in another location a few miles away.   Nothing will be wasted.

Hopefully the anti-histamines  have kicked in - sometimes takes a few days to get up to full power.

Unlike a hot bath, that works wonders immediately.  Bliss!

DS4 just walked into the kitchen, saw the rhubarb, and said 'Wow! Never seen pink celery before, what do you do with it?'

Don't think his brothers are going to let him forget that one.

I'm not sure which I'd be more tempted to make for him, celery crumble or rhubarb Waldorf salad?
