Oh yes indeed! President Parp. Full of hot air, and he stinks. So what have I been doing all day except for not eating the meringues yet? Well, I got up and did a tip run! yay! Think the only other person there when I arrived had just dropped his keys into the huge skip, as the man who worked there handed him a rake, and a pokey stick with a hook on the end. oops.I still have all the books as the 0xfam book depository thing was full and overflowing, so they came back home and I will ziff1t and see if any are worth selling. Then I made a healthy lunch of tomato and red pepper soup, with a frozen ys pizza (1/6th was 100 calories) and one ys garlic bread baguette. So while that was cooking I started to polish the Electro Plated Nickel Silver cutlery I found in one of the boxes that step-gran told me to give to a charity shop, which was in a very bad state, and now it is all shiny and silver and new looking. Just like magic, and all because I found a bottle of silver polish under the sink.I did not find a hallmark on the teapot step-gran insists is silver though. Will have to take it to an antiques dealer. It does look great now it is shiny.Supper tonight is stir-fried rice - I picked up some very nice ys stirfry veg on Monday, so in an effort to undo the damage done by dh's hugely calorific meal last night (he has been banned from kitchen duty - he cannot be trusted) I am back in control, and it is strawberries, with cherry yoghurt and the last meringues for afters.I have lost control of the living room, and ds3 and 4 have taken over in there with Skyr1m and flying dragons.Today is 4 weeks until the school run resumes.Treyarnon Bay still has 5 bed rooms for the October half term at £39 a night for nearly the whole week. DH does not want to go. Anywhere. Ever again. So,my hall is clearer than it was when I got up, but I have monumentally failed at cleaning so far, but there is a fresh load of laundry drying on the line and I know what I am cooking for tea. So there!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Any news on the Panel yet? I hope for the sake of your sanity that he hears sooner rather than later.

I love the macrons! My DS is stilling calling the incubator an imbi-cutor - which sounds awfully like I am trying to electrocute the eggs instead of hatch them! My YHA is showing the rooms at £132 per night at TB for Oct half term, I am not sure if this is because you are a member, or because we have different half term dates! Ours are 26-30th? I might even have been able to convince my DH at your prices
, hope you can convince your DH instead. Hope you get an answer about the panel soon too.

Ah! our half term dates are the week before - it annoys me that they started raising the prices during school holidays - it is a recent occurance.Himself is an Associate Professor!!!! He gets a pay rise and is a very happy old sausage. We went out for a run with 3 (count 'em, 3!!) kids first thing before breakfast. Then came home and made a coffee and he came dancing out into the hall shouting, I am an !!!!!!. Pro !!He has been asked by a friend to illustrate a book she has written, and he is refusing to accept any money for it and is doing it as a gift. He is a nice boy really. So if he claims to be bored, he can get on with that.We waited and waited yesterday for news on the lockdown and if it will be lifted. There was supposed to be an announcement at lunchtime, it did not happen, then at 5pm, then at 6pm, then at 9pm, and when we got up this morning we found out that Oadby and Wigston have had their lockdown lifted from Monday but not the city. Then at 10am they announced the city was allowed to reopen pubs and restaurants from Monday but we have all the Manchester and Yorkshire restrictions still in place.I don't want to go out anywhere, not after last night when I went into the supermarket for one item, some stupid boy/man started shouting at me because he felt, even with my trolley between us, that I was too close to him. HE was the one who had moved toward me!! I was just stood there reaching for my item, but he was too busy yapping on to his girlfriend and being totally bleedin' oblivious, he walked up to my trolley and then started muffled shouting through his mask. It is still allowed to be 1m distant here - 2m is better, but one is still acceptable, if you are wearing a mask. Silly boy. Anyway I was not going to get involved in an argument with him, when he was the one moving toward me. So I walked away. But it has not made me want to go back into any more shops, if that is what is going to be considered normal behaviour.Anyway, I cooked them all ys pies from the freezer as a lunch celebration of dh's promotion and had them with salad. When the pies were in the oven, I went upstairs and cleaned and hoovered the top two floors and stripped the beds.It has been a fab day for laundry drying, but ooh, so hot. The sheets were drying on the line in under 20 minutes. That is faster than in the machine, So they are all waiting to be folded and bunged back in the airing cupboard. Nobody can be bothered to cook tonight, so they can have leftover salad or toast or bagels. After hoovering the house and cleaning and stripping I am officially knackered. I will vanquish the ground floor later tonight and tomorrow.Good grief there was just the loudest clap of thunder, and so we have been out and grabbed the washing (all dry) and brought it in as we are about to have a big old storm. But I have 3 courgettes swelling nicely so they will love it.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
