I do not want to. Big girl pants day.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Have you done step gran's house insurance? Were you able to save her any money?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Yes I have done the dreaded house insurance - I got it for £100 less than the renewal quote, and £5 less than last year, and it is with the H4lifax that she banks with anyway, so full buildings and contents including accidental damage to all contents, & legals, & Home emergency cover, & hearing aids, and outbuildings, for just over £250 and with £30 cashback. All documents to be sent to her address in large print.I have now lost the will to live and am consoling myself with Columbo and half a bagel. Lunch was sausages (they raised a cheer - the kids have missed them
) supper is pittas and salad with a greek style shredded wheat-meat that is positively lush. After the run this morning the scales were fluttering between 12/4 and 12/3 so I am hoping if I am good today then I will be 12.3. It is about flippin' time! I am going down to the 11's this month.
Anyway, the ground floor has been hoovered and the kitchen mopped, all laundry done, and drying on the line. There is nothing on tv today, and everyone else is happily occupying their time, so it is just me in the kitchen with the Baklava, trash talking the kettle because I was supposed to descale it this morning and I forgot. The kids have requested one kind of breakfast cereal that means I have to go to Mr M's shopping emporium and I do not want to.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Oh dear to the Mr M's trip. I have been to the shop once since they made masks mandatory, one loaf of bread and two cakes. I had been starting to get back into a routine of being out and about shopping a bit more but that's had the brakes put firmly on. Food shopping will be as little as possible and anything else either won't be purchased or will be done online for the foreseeable.
Your menus always sound delicious and inspired.
Have been decorating this week, always think of you when I'm wielding a paint brush, though I'm sure you'd be faster than me. Just been putting the room back together after a week's work.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Numbers!Made a sneaky overpayment of £67.48 to bring down my mortgage to £90,999.99 which means a monthly interest of £138.26 and a daily interest rate of SUB £4.50!! in fact, £4.46. Each and every day.Sent step-gran some yogurt covered raisins (her favourite) and my free stamps while I was posting my spy-ware. Sent some more recent photos to the kids Grandparents as well. Show willing and all that. All the bills have been paid. I don't think I will be shunting much sideways into savings, as the washing machine needed paying for on the credit card. The shopping has been done for the week - monthly tea (Twinings Earl Grey) and filter coffee and hot chocolate supplies bought, 2 Herr Leedl bargain boxes picked up - £67 spent this week on food and nearly £20 of that was on the tea coffee and hot chocolate powder, and another £9 was spent on cheese. So a very cheap week on food this week. The weather is hotting up and so there is plenty of cheap fizzy drinks in the pantry and the fruitbowl is magnificent. The fridge is full of green and purple things and I have enough potatoes to bury a medium sized child under. The hospice charity shop is now open, I drove past it earlier and they had things out on the pavement. I will take a wander up there tomorrow after my run. I still have my bed hit list on the go.Next aim is sub £90k with a sub £4.25 daily interest.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I have just ordered the armchairs for delivery on 18th. 2 of them, brilliant yellow (I dislike, he loooooves it!) but no footstool. Now I have to find the money for it from the housekeeping . £430 of it. He deserves a promotion present. Plus his sub £91k mortgage celebration. Plus the 'we made it through another month on planet Earth' present.Found I had £8 of Mr T's vouchers, plus the £5 off £25 on uniform voucher, and a load of 25 point coupons, so will use them this week. £25 of school kit for £13 is ok for me. Shopped from home and found a pair of 13-14 school trousers for DS3 to try on as well.Rang the insurance people with the hat and telescope, but are not pirates (honest) and cancelled the auto-renewal for step-gran.Ran 2.6km this morning. Came home and lay on the kitchen tile and died a little bit.Going to make lunch in between 2 ridiculously timed team/zoom meetings scheduled by dh. It will be grab and go for him.Laundry on line and all is well in the world.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
