I had some woman glower at me when I was out in the  Street the other week because I was within 20ft of her 🙄 I have no concerns going out and getting on with things as normally as possible but people like her just make me not want to bother, so I've been avoiding going out as much as possible.  In fact, the only place I've been is a trade paint store, where you tell the guys what you want and they go in and get it for you. It's all very sensible in difficult circumstances,  and both the chaps who own it and other customers seem to understand that smiling at someone is not a symptom or way to catch anything.

There are always going to be idiot around, like the !!!! in the supermarket.  Learning to cope with it is going to earn a lot of us Sainthoods (or not!)

I don't understand what is happening any more with lockdown - I just know that my eyebrow appointment on Friday has been cancelled again Plenty of fools in the supermarkets though.

Not full prof - he either needs a decent book deal or to bring in a large amount of funding to the department to qualify for that one, but it is the bottom of a shiny new pay spine, so he can climb the greasy pole as an Associate first.   I reminded him he would need new business cards and to update his profiles, so he spent a happy amount of time doing that yesterday.  He is currently having a nap - like a toddler who has over excited himself and then passed out face down in his spaghetti. 

This morning was very productive, I cleaned and cleared the living room, I have clean and cleared a good deal of the back room, and it actually looks really good, despite the 5 push bikes stored in there.  They have to go somewhere, and they are used so often at the minute that there is as good a place as any.  As soon as the Swedish store has a decent stock level for delivery again I am buying 2 armchairs and a footstool and then there is going to be some serious furniture re-arrangement going on.

Supper tonight is a beef (style strip) and broccoli stirfry and a fruit salad/trifle mash up (if is in a very fancy glass trifle dish and has jelly and strawberries at he bottom, and then nectarines and satsumas and apples, then a layer of zero sugar yogurt, and mango slices.  DH went off to the middle eastern supermarket up the road, and came back having spent £60.  I despair at the man!! Still, he isn't spending much in other areas of his life, and he had just got paid, but still.  He bought me a present too!  I am sitting here next to the biggest darn watermelon you ever did see. Like Wilson and Tom Hanks.  But we have ys fresh mint, and ys limes (about a million of them) and the 3 things together are a gorgeous dessert. But I had already made tonight's so it will have to wait until tomorrow.

We have planned our run for tomorrow. Aiming for 3k or a little bit more. 2 loads of laundry done and line dried. All laundry returned to owners, and I am avoiding doing step-gran's annual house insurance  online right now.  The auto-renew is over £100 ,more for the next year. Considering she is housebound so the house is rarely empty, and it is just a small anyway, what a rip-off!  Will do it tomorrow. Today I cannot be faffed.
