Smart tampons. Smart condoms.
All I want is to be able to find the end of a sellotape roll without a problem.

I might have gone a little overboard on the y/s hunting. I am back with 8 x 16 packs of sausages (reduced from £4 to 75p) and 6 packs of filo (40p each) and 2 sliced loaves, 4 packs of bagels, 2 avocados, a pizza, a ready-meal mac n cheeze, a couple of bags of spinach, etc, etc, etc. Anyway, I spent £16 and apart from a crate of milk and some curry powder (about a £7 spend), that is me sorted for all meals for this week. My freezer is totally full. My cupboards overfloweth, and I have 2 out of 4 kids who are 'helping out' with making the meals. Today DS4 made 2 packs of creme carmelle for after supper tonight, yesterday he made a fruit salad. DS2 is mumbling about a lemon drizzle cake needing to be made.So tomorrow, for lunch the kids are having ( what a surprise!) sausages and rolls and salad, and spanakopita for supper (one will dissent so he can have the microwave mac n cheeze, then want to try the spanakopita, announce that it is good, but refuse to eat it next time I make it). I will make a baklava from storecupboard ingredients, or, come to think of it, get one of the kids to make baklava from store cupboard ingredients. Strangely enough the dissenter will eat sweet filo. The washing machine was put on two very thin strips of anti vibration material dh just had lying around (as you do - he is not a hoarder - or so he tells me) and it is behaving itself on the setting I put it on for a full load. So quick! So quiet! So painless! So of course it rained for most of today. Grrrr!Nearly finished another book, volunteered twice today, doing another shift tomorrow - helping out for holiday cover - and am feeling quite positive and on top of things. Probably because the week's shopping is going to come in at less than £25
That is quite a lot to divert to the washing machine fund (hopefully)
Oh, also bought a GCSE psychology study aid for DS2 online for £3. He needs it, I bought it.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

The mind really does boggle. DH was impressed that our washing machine had wifi for all of 3 minutes. An 11kg washing machine sounds amazing, our last had to fit in a 600cm space and we couldn't go that big, hope it speeds up the washing grind!
We had one with dieing bearings for a while, I think I can still hear the noise now
I've been slowly reading through your diary too like @Bluegreen143. I've started reading the famous five to the kids, and at this point I'm not sure if I should thank you for that or notIt is really inspiring reading though (your diary, not the famous five) & you have done wonders for my food budget already!

Haha! There would be a child protection issue about that Kirrin family in about 5 minutes flat! Sneaking out the house, stealing from the larder, running away and consorting with thieves and spies.First rule of children's fiction - get rid of the parents! How easy must parenting have been back then? Open the door - out you go and spend the day with hairy fishermen. Although George's mum really seems to need admitting into a facility somewhere for her 'nerves'. Wonder if George would be described as Trans or Non Gender Identifying. Nobody gets their knickers in a wedge over 1940's George. The washer is 850 x 600 x 540 mm (H x W x D) so it would fit! The outer metal box is pretty much the same width as a normal 7kg washing machine. The drum is just bigger and a little bit taller and deeper. It works just fine without wi-fi, DH seems interested in giving it his phone number. Weirdo.Right, need to kick myself into action, finding it hard to get going this morning. Stayed up late to finish my book. Will start a new one later. Must get on with stuff today.

If the WM texts DH to tell him it’s ready to be emptied will he actually do anything about it or just tell you?8
