Thrifty I agree on the phone thing, i just hope that the powers that be also realise a lot of my conversations are not actually serious...or that prison has decent wifi if they don't
How's the running going F0xh0les? i was out early on Sunday morning and it was surprisingly hot then. Looking like we're hitting mid to high 20s this weekend in this neck of the woods.
I currently have my running tshirts soaking in bicarb overnight, find that even with a sports laundry liquid they tend to become whiffy even when washed over time so a good soak in bicarb seems to resolve that. I should develop a tech fabric you can boil wash 🤔Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

My phone does not listen to me. I can shout Hey G00glies! as much as I like and it still ignores me. All that is turned off on my phone. I do feel like a total Luddite sometimes. It is a fantastic resource for the blind, or those with physical issues, but I do not use it myself. Mind you I did not have a baby monitor or spy cam either. Maybe it is my paranoia and dark sense of humour showing.

The first thing my son does when we get a new laptop in the house is say "we don't want that" and stick tape over the camera. Also my friend has one of those phones that you can say hey g*** to. The problem is it never understands what he wants & I have to explain how to rephrase it. I'm not really a Luddite but I do hate it when "things" take over. I actually miss going to the library & finding out from books what I want to know!

I must admit I love my Al**a too here @thriftyish. Since we got it, we listen to music all the time which makes me really happy 🙂 it was quite difficult to put music on here before as we had no CDs or proper audio equipment left so had to put it on the TV. £25 for our Al**a in the half price sale sorted that. My 4yo likes being able to put music on easily himself too. We liked it so much we got another for upstairs. Apart from music and audiobooks I mainly use it as a cooking timer 😆 we don’t tend to do much else with it, certainly don’t have it hooked up to our lights!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

My OH tried Bixby when it was first on his phone...suffice to say it was very short lived as Bixby apparently doesn't understand Glasweigan 😂

So...Le Shire's lockdown is sort of easing and school can go back...? But term has already ended, hasn't it? Twits.

Yep, the only difference to me is that non- essential shops (but not bars, cafes and restaurants or hairdressers) are allowed to open, but we are being told to stay home unless travel is essential or you cannot work from home. The Leicestershire fortnight is a relic from when all the factories closed down for 2 weeks for annual maintenance and clean up, so we got off school 2 weeks before the rest of UK (mostly) in Summer, which is when you usually grabbed a bargain hol as prices were still cheap. Not this year! The schools were due to close on the 10th, so the announcement on the 16th telling us our kids could return to school was priceless. I may have shouted something extremely rude at the Right Hon Member. It also includes nurseries, which have been open for the last month already. The one near me has just announced it is closing from August and has told all its staff last week that they are being made redundant. So I am still in lockdown, until Hatt Mancock gets that stable door firmly bolted, with belt and braces, and wearing a mask and visor and balaclava and a condom on top.Still at 12.4. Not putting any on. It will drop soon. Will go to PolarBear shop if my gift card arrives today. Otherwise I am staying home, photographing things to sell, cleaning clearing and tidying. I have a list, I am checking it twice.DH worked out he has not had a face to face conversation with anyone outside our house for 132 days.Good job I keep everyone amused and informed and happy - it is good training in case we (ok, I ) ever end up in prison.I have 2 courgettes that are 2" long growing on my plants! and some tomatlings but they are still green. Herr Alidi has £3.50 tomato plants with fruit on this week, in case anyone fancies adopting a new family member.

Oh, and I can do up the side zip on another one of my very fitted bodice dresses, over my unruly bosom (it is a size 18 but really does not look it) although my rib measurement has not decreased any.My waist appears to be an inch smaller, down to 39 inches (99cm). Still got a long way to go, but still, downwards is downward. Need to start doing my TA exercises more regularly. A lot of my inches are down to poor muscle tone. I can suck it in a good long way. Wouldn't it be nice if you could put yourself through a hot wash and soak, and tighten up your fibres. It would be a very different world if I was in control of SCIENCE in theory and practice.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Well done you on fitting into the dress.
And I wouldn't mind at all if I could just tighten up the fibres in my face! I'd put up with the rest of me (for a while at least)
